@verticaldrumco Yes its a beautiful snare drum and I'm sure it sound great. The reason for my statement is a good friend of mine purchased a copper wrapped set of Slingerland drums in the early 70s. It was a double bass set and sounded and looked great BUT then they tarnished they tarnished really bad. We live in the midwest in the USA where it get very humid in the summer. He would wipe them down before and after playing but with being handled and getting sweat on they tarnished bad enough (in 6 to 7 months time) Slingerland replaced the whole set but they would not replace with copper. Slingerland replaced a lot of sets and quit making the copper sets altogether. What is the suggested cleaner for your drums? It is a beautiful drum and I really did mean I hope it works out (long term) for your company. Thank you for your time RCW
@ Good insight. Each of our metal shells including the copper are sprayed with a clear lacquer made for metal so they won’t tarnish or patina over time. The inside could if they were stored in a harsh environment but the outside is good to go. We’ve been selling this style for 4 years now with no complaints.
