Great series! The collector knows the history, ins and outs of the brand he loves. Have to appreciate the great effort in investing and looking after them!
When I was a kid the Hurricane in orange w/ black stripes was the one I desired the most. I also love and am currently collecting all Adidas shoes with the Americana stripes (red&blue)
Btw, how do you keep the sneakers/ shoes from getting moldy and also the sole from getting disintegrated ? I have many of these problems in my own small collections. Mold, soles disintegrating and upper separated from the lower ! I don’t wear them at all. Any help is appreciated, thanks !
Nice.....I am also crazy re Adidas Gazelle...n have a few swede I kept for a long time....n like you I told myself if I wore them out....I probably could not replace them....I am glad I stumble across your collection....the vintage suede Blue Gazelle I couldn't afford way back as a kid....I got it now over 10 years n kept it....also a few more pairs.....thanks for posting.....
Older shoes often use rubber soles, which do get brittle over time but it won’t crumble the way polyurethane/foam soles do. Also they often are stitched rather than glued
@@user-lk4jd5yc8d like I said an Asian equivalent, not a Western product and design manufactured in Asia. ASICS is probably the only significant brand I can think of from Asia. Hopefully there will be more
People who collect shoes put me off. They can't wear all their shoes realistically in their lifetime and it end up being wasted. If the shoes are worn it then become smelly and germ infested as well. Underwear collectors are also the same but even more sad. Buy so much for what? So cheap and sick. Lol

How amazing would it be to visit his collection. I’m at 30 adidas pairs and I totally get it.
Great collector - Eddie Chang 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bro he’s wearing new balance. Legendary
Fantastic collection unbelievable 👏 👍 👌
I like these collector series! Really interesting, and well done. Please keep them coming!
Respects for this man! I love adidas brand.

It also looks like he has a very fine vinyl collection and Hi-Fi system. Those are serious floor standing speakers behind him.
Outstanding Eddie 👏🏻👏🏻

U have to maintain them with leather & suede conditioners & bruhses if they already ahve mold on & store them well, avoid heat & moisture
@@RextonWendell most welcome and thanks for the tip. Ok, I will try it

Do you have the sl 72 worn by starsky?
Could do with a second part showcasing Eddie's vinyl LP stash!
Seems like a cool / good guy
What is the difference between collecting abandoned items from the streets and collecting old shoes?
Tetanus or happiness is the easiest way of explaining that quandary. ;)
Cool points ...we do it for cool points 😎
Adidas flight blue suede 1986 ?
I have one signed by a famous runner when he was in Singapore
won't the soles disintegrate over time?

the sneaker market has changed only hyped sneakers will sell (resellers controls the market) or else they are all sitting on shelves 😮💨
So a collector would wear a Stan Smith..
He wears new balance tho
Where? Seems like he’s wearing Stan smiths for most of the video

adidas al jabbar
😂
The question is when will the world be wearing and feverishly collecting an Asian equivalent of Adidas or Nike?..
Most, if not all, of Nike/adidas is made in Asia lol. But there’s Onitsuka Tiger , that has its collectors base

Too much money
