Cheers Gina, I'm so happy you have decided to come back, you've been missed and I love your honesty, sending some positive karma for the ambulance bill ! from Alberta
Hi! Love visiting with you. Will try the magic heel, never heard of it. I just finished listening to the Audiobook of JAMES. (I knit while listening). It’s very good…. Hope you enjoy it.
One of the sadest parts of the recent murder might actually be an underlying mental illness that could be the reason for his actions. Schizophrenia and/ or bipolar disorder are a strong possibility. These issues are sometimes untreated mental health illnesses and are certainly something to consider. This CEO also had a wife and children who are innocent to all of it.
Gina, always enjoy your videos. We all have opinions on everything, and most of the time, if you say anything, someone else will argue the point with you. I've first got to say I'm mostly out of the loop on this Luigi drama. I know what happened, but didn't know about the hats. Took me a minute to know what you were talking about. Medical insurance has never been fair. It's a numbers game. Just like the fire insurance in California. The insurance company won't insure most of the places there because of these winds every year and millions of dollars to rebuild. Insurance is like going to Las Vegas with the thought that you are going to win a bunch of money, but the odds are always in their favor. It comes down to honesty and compassion and insurance companies don't have either. On reading Dune. I'm not a si-fi person but I loved reading all the Dune books. I couldn't put them down and I read these twenty years ago. Your socks are beautiful. Your sweaters and shawls are always beautiful. We all make mistakes when we knit. Most of the time I leave them if their not noticeable. I've just finished the Go Go Dynamo by Stephen West. It took me forever but it is so pretty. I'm working on a easy cowl right now. I'm on my 5th book for the year. Weather here in Washington state has been fare. Some rain, in the 40's and 50's, no snow yet. We have family in southern California and so far they are okay, but it looks like California has lost a huge part of it's history in the last few days. It is devastating.
Innocent until proven guilty for Luigi! I'm not convinced he did it either. James is a pretty good book I also like Greenlights. I'd recommend the audiobook for it. Keep it up Gina!
It’s so complicated. Hate that people pay into insurance and can’t get covered when needed. Also, I don’t understand why he’s facing terrorism charges yet a mass murderer is yet to be slapped with terrorism charges. There’s inconsistency. All life is valuable. It’s not just rich people.
Hi Gina! Thanks for podcasting! Could you please share the name of the yarn you used for your fingerless mitts? I love the colors! I tried to search for it, but could not find it. Thanks!
I got the audio version of James last year on Libby and then decided to re-read Huckleberry Finn. I’m wondering if your variegated yarn paired with a tonal would be less pooling?
There isn't a logical explanation of some of whats going on... Also, life is gray, not black and white. Omg, my last surgery I was under anesthesia for 5 hours.
I so enjoy your podcast. The knitting, the books and the tuna salad. I don’t think it’s a contradiction to say Luigi is a hero but think murder is wrong. How many people did the CEO murder? 100,000? Just because those murders are considered acceptable by the business world does not make them right.
Sorry to hear about your health but I say retire don’t feel guilty because of you folks. You sound like you will stay very busy with your retirement list. I pray for the people in LA too and hope they get the help they need. I am in western NC and with all the help we are getting from kind people donating tent camper food etc it has been a slow go. FEMA very slow sadly. They are here but mostly giving $750 for loss of food and a voucher for 7 nights in a motel. Anything else they have not done much else yet. Samaritans Purse which was Billy Graham now Franklin Graham relief help has been wonderful and Water To Wine is another one. Stay strong. Judy
Health insurances don‘t let you die all over the world. The system in the US is horrific, but if offered a better system lots of US citizens call that „communism“ 🤷🏻♀️
Love your podcast! Controversial or not….. Thought provoking yes! I am Canadian and shocked that the ambulance was $6000. Makes me very thankful.
We dont really mind the lighting. Just olease podcast more!!!

I always love hanging with you, Gina.

I strongly agree with you. All signs point… not sure he did it tho.
LOVED your podcast today! I couldn't agree with you more about Luigi - God bless him! I hope other CO'S will, hopefully, change their DENY policies!

I bet there would definitely be less pooling! 🎉😂❤
The books hit home - matthews book is in my queue and my 22 y/o daughter is obsessed with DUNE

So happy to see you again! I just read "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi. It is a beautiful read on many levels!!! You might enjoy. Peace to you!

Ok, I know what your talking about now.
Insurance is so wrong, so sad for all of us
I agree, maybe he should have handled it differently? He still be locked up but not for life. Yes, they are killing people and it should stop.
Lol😂❤

Yeah. I misspoke about it happening all over the world. I meant, all over the country. We need universal healthcare!
Sure, but abortion isn't murder. It's not the same as capital punishment.
