Bandit 1200 weighs 135lbs less then the VMAX 1200 Bandit HP:98HP Vmax 1200:140HP with the 135lb difference and this bandit being modified it makes this a very good race.
Thanks I agree definitely a sleeper bike people look at it and think it's a old cruiser until I rip the throttle and their entire perception changes lol
Guaranteed way to beat a V-Max...race over a five mile track and it's an auto win when the Max runs out of fuel in it's peanut size tank :D. I love the early V-Max for pure acceleration, and the later ones increased the size of the fuel tank to make it practical.
Lol this comment made me laugh I've heard the VMAX 1200 doesn't have the best fuel capacity. They sell bigger gas tanks as well as secondary auxiliary tanks. Thanks for watching the video stay safe 😁
That V-Twin sounds really good hey! It actually surprised me, I really thought the Bandit would walk the V-Max but no other way round. One thing that Bandit couldn’t and didn’t really get a good launch kinda hard to tell, seemed to be having a hard time keeping the front end down! I have an 2008 919 Hornet, pc3, slip ons, flapper mod, smog delete. I thought my Hornet may have a chance against the V-max. No I now am highly doubtful that it would even be close hey? Cheers Dave from Australia
Thanks brother the VMAX is actually a 4V the same engine configuration as a newer Aprilia Rsv4 or Tuono obviously those newer 4V are years ahead of this old vmax but that's why this old cruiser pulls super hard.
@@2wheelfamily493 do you know roughly how many HP that V-Max be putting down? My 2008 919 Hornet with Dynojet3, slip ons and smog delete has around 100HP at the rear wheel. That V-Max would have to be putting down maybe 10HP more or so you think? Cheers Dave from Australia
V-max is the best!

The VMAX 1200 would make any Sportbike rider a believer definitely the King of muscle cruisers or at least until the VMAX 1700 came out lol
Felt like I was watching the Superbowl
thanks brother 🏁

@@claytonconn7820 is that at the crank or rear wheel. By the looks of the way it walked that 1200 bandit I would assume its 145hp at rear wheel hey?
@@davidwalden3896 that's not 145 rwp that's to the crank
Nice theme
Thanks definitely one of my favorite themes 😁 im very happy with the outcome!
I like what you did to your v max might have to send you mine so you can do a custom design for it
My 2012 is almost stock just has an aftermarket exhaust
thanks brother I'd be happy to do a custom theme on your bike
any chance you know what handle bar setup you have. thanks
I don't I believe the handlebar setup was purchased off eBay a long time ago

Did you tear the bike down to paint the frame?
I vinyl wrapped the frame
Ok I love that I want to do a green and purple
@@wyldjoker13 I was able to vinyl wrap the frame without removing the motor. Green and purple would look Nice!!
Yes sir engine ice cost 50$ for a gallon but we'll worth it
all I run in all my bikes is engine ice great stuff worth the price
@@2wheelfamily493 ya keeps them a lot cooler if I could afford it I'd probably run it in my dad's PT cruiser lol
Hi familli happy ❤
hey thanks for watching the video 😁
v max has 117 wheel hp vs 100 in bandit
vmax weighs exactly 90lbs more then the bandit makes for a really good race.
🏍🏍👍
