Arrangement of "Fighting Fate" ( 宿命への抗い ) from Final Fantasy XIII.
Composed by Masashi Hamauzu, arranged by Sipi Ovaska.
Starting 2024 off with a very complicated track! Like many other of Hamauzu's orchestral pieces, it's full of weird dissonant chords, especially in the loud parts. The main choir melody is beautiful and almost cheerful sounding, and the part right after that is just downright unsettling. I think this track fits the fights against Barthandelus perfectly.
I spent the most time on the loud parts near the end, and I'm still not quite satisfied. Very happy with the main choir parts though.

The original song is strong as hell, but this arrangement is far more intense, it also sounds "clean" than the original one. Also, it sounds more "fantasy" and less "fatality".
