God I'm so sad about Rowdy. I had him tagged as the Dimebag Darrel of country. I just found this band a couple months ago and they quickly became a favorite. For the band, friends, and family, my condolences to you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. A true loss to music and art.
This song speaks to me deep inside my heart an soul! Beautiful song. I've always been an artist myself. I sing , write poems stories songs, take pictures, work with clay. I've always been a story teller an have had soul & wisdom beyond my years. I'm a cancer survivor an have been faced with death many times in 30 years of life. An i wouldn't go back in time to change a thing. Sometimes you were meant to fall on your face in order to rebuild yourself better than before. God is always there for you even if you don't acknowledge him. For many years I let my emotional an physical pain win but no more. I would be better than before. I made up my mind to learn how to play the guitar so I'm starting to look out for a lefty acoustic that I can afford. Then I will record an put up videos of my own songs that I've written. Thank you the Steel Woods for your music an inspiration. One of the first songs I'm going to learn on the guitar is this one.

Saw them last night at boondocks when they opened for Eli Young Band. Great guys really down to earth and stayed around in the front bar and talked and met fans. Girlfriend got her wristband signed and got a hug.

Kinda drums up some of the same opening feelings as " Highway Song"
by Blackfoot from so long ago. Great road tunes from when just crusin and hangin out were a national pastime for our much younger and less complicated selves. Great times back then.

I love this so much. It's like you took my roots in Appalachian hillbilly blues/bluegrass & added more awesome to it. That "kindlinnnnnnnnn'" part gets me every time & for some reason I hear Layne Staley's voice in there near the end of that (Alice In Chains), which is one of my absolute favorites. I hope to see y'all play somewhere soon
