This is the main direction of US/AUS partnership and forces.
The government of Australia is scared of China. The people of Australia are getting much friendlier towards the idea of Chinese integration. Chinese culture has already been through their Marxist period, they are immune to "wokeness" and instill healthy values like hard work and healthy eating.
Totally agree, and will add that by supporting Ukraine, and historically many other nations at war, other nations even within the EU or NATO will see fit to come to Australia's aid, as they have also historically done if/when we get into a fight for survival.
The Australian Minister for Defense Richard Marles is an incompetent idiot … the Australian Army couldn’t maintain the Taipans properly & didn’t want the Ukes showing them up .., the 2nd Taipan crashed because of a faulty night vision system nothing to do with the choppers
You're a bit of a nong aren't you? This is not why the helicopters were put out of service, and likewise the Minister for Defense is not an incompetent idiot. If you want to blame someone, blame ScoMo (minister for everything) previous PM. He let everything go to the dogs while he emulated his BFF Trump. Didn't you ever wonder why we lost so many Chinese Contracts to supply everything from Coal to Wine? It's because Scotty boy (at the behest of previously mentioned BFF) went in hard on China about who was responsible for Covid. He was no diplomat and set Aussie diplomacy back 40 years. Any beefs you have with the current federal government can for the most part be put at the door of the previous government because the current one hasn't had the chance to deal with all the LNPs missteps and fuckery they inherited.Try to take a more balanced and informed view in future.
Bro, 4 of our soldiers died because of those Taipan's in 2022
Fighting for the survival of a country is a little different to our stultifying, litigious, Health & Safety culture.
@@chadjcrase lol. You probably countered your own argument in your own argument. Likely would have cost more getting the government through the courts than the helicopters were worth. I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment though those tanks should gives some forgiveness.
The HUDS problem, not the choppers. HUDS = heads up display system.
You are a dreamer and delusional lol.
Russians and Ukranians come to Australia bringing nothing but hard work and kindness. I really think Australia should avoid funding this war in any way. I will drink a beer tonight for Simeon Boikov, a famous Russian-Australian. He was jailed for naming a PDF file, many people disagree with that legal decision.
Firstly Russian army did come to Ukraine stealing, killing and destroying.
Secondly, Australia is a DEMOCRACY. What that means is we obey the laws generated by a parliament from a constitution. The people have the power to control those laws by voting for particular politicians. If you don't like the laws, set about changing who the people vote for. Seems to work a lot better than other systems of government.
@Happiones firstly you have no idea what your talking about, Russia was asked by the people of the Crimea area for support as they have be constantly bombed by the Ukraine's since 2014 after voting to come part of the Russian Federation. Learn the history before trying to rewrite it to suit your narrative.
@@squizzal4636 You are a hypocrite saying I don't know my history. You haven't even attempted to respond to the point insinuated that you do not understand what a democracy is. I'll spell it out for you. Corner stones of democracy include freedom of the press and free and fair elections/referendums as reported by a free press. Your sources of information do not have either of those, mine do. My sources of information have functioning oppositions, that can be openly and freely voted for by any eligible citizen, and rarely even imprisoned let alone found unexpectedly dead. Your sources of information don't even have any undead opposition. These points invalidate your information.
Thats fake news
Keep dreaming mate. Russia will prevail
Its not australia's problem. What would they do if australia was in trouble? That right,NOT MUCH.
While Australia doesn't wholly own the problem, any incursion by one nation into another's territory is a problem for Australia as it weakens guide lines for world peace. The age of imperialism or colonisation is over as modern technology is so effective at causing death and destruction that territorial gains become un-economic when compared to other methods of advancing the human condition.
We're not part of nato
Despite AUSSIE/US support, Ukraine needs to sue for peace as soon as possible.
My one hope for President Trump is he ends this brutal war in Ukraine.
Based on what he has repeatedly said, It’s unlikely Trump would end it any other way than just handing Ukraine to Putin, whom he seems to want to impress/
No escape from the US nut jobs here either.
@@annabelmayo450 Democracy and some social policy, allows the people to build wealth, Autocracy and or too much capitalism, allows the stealing of wealth from the people. Sad thing is that Trump may end up losing the US's super power status, maybe only temporarily, but I suspect a lot of US citizens have a FAAFO lesson incoming.
BS
bs
what exactly you calling BS?
@@siryogiwan the whole story, that Australia has significant influence in this war, better said, they have none
maybe they use this story to steal their taxpayers money, as they do in many countries just now
and the Ukrainians do the rest, selling the weapons they received to - for example Hamas, where they found some
that"s the normal way they handle business in the Ukraine, and before the war started, everybody knew
You’re reacting to a propaganda video.
The CORPORATION know as Australia clown get it right we the people don't support Ukraine facts
You are WRONG clown. The only people, as supported by the constitution, with the right to DEFINITIVELY interpret law and have spent a life time studying law, as opposed to watching unorganised, badly conceived, unsupported you tube videos, have repeatedly and consistently made rulings on the basis that Australia is NOT A CORPORATION.
Excuse me "we the people" who are you to speak for all?
@@susanstrachan8130Take it easy on him Susan, he can't even understand how democracy works let alone work out that it's the Australian, not the United States of America's constitution that is the base of Australian law.
You don't speak for me champ
Full of SHIT..
