I think they put breadcrumbs in the patties to help the meat bind together. Whether it's 50/50 I don't know. And what part of the chicken goes into it I think is questionable haha. Great work again on the video, it's very interesting to watch!
Great stuff as always mate. Curious did you make the concrete dog bowls yourself using a mould? Gotta kelpie that loves tipping his water bowl 😑 Cheers👍
They’re great aren’t they! No our local concrete company (Byfords - readymix) has moulds and when they have left over concrete they make the bowls. They’re well worth getting!
We have a specific processor. They’re a Co Op that we own shares in. I heard they tried amalgamating them years ago so the closest processors did the slaughter and the Co Op marketed and sold the meat which could have made things a lot more efficient. We have a lot of meat works and a relatively small amount of stock that goes through them.
Oh yeah you think? Don’t grow them out further? If they’re growing 300grams / day and the ewes are growing 100grams a day. I’m making an extra $1.20/day? And although my average growth rate over their age might be 350grams, I’d say my growth rates in the last 30Days should be the highest, so like 400-450 in the last 30Days? I don’t know. You could be right the market likes a certain lamb too so some will be cutters and trimmers.
Good clean looking lambs and good music
Cheers!
Good dogs. Good sheep. Good education. Appreciate the video and you’re knowledge good to learn from you
Cheers, I don’t know. I’ll forever be learning too!

Fair enough!
All them lambs need weaning forsure
When you send the lambs to the works have you got a specific processor or do they go all over the country

This might be a dumb question, but what breed are the black & tan dogs?
They’re the New Zealand Huntaway which is a mixed breed dog bred to work stock using their bark.
Thanks!
3:30 I don’t see why you’re not weaning because the lambs are old enough to wean so why not wean

Beef burger will be the same % age of beef as the chicken
97% Beef. 2% Collogen + Salt & Pepper 👍. The real deal!
