It's so satisfying to wake up Saturday morning and watch Tyson's videos. I live in a country that is far from beautiful. Acura was never sold here, too. Sunny Arizona seems like a nice place to live, especially when you can own a bunch of classic cars and not go bankrupt with repair bills.
Good for you for bringing this gem back to life! I owned an 88 & a 90 Legend coupe(s) back in the day. Some of my most favorite cars. Who knew at the time that we should have viewed them as collectors items?
I love your restoration and planning videos! I’m in the middle of a light restoration on my 1990 Honda Accord Sedan 5-speed just like you. I’ve been collecting all kinds of parts for it. I know that Acura’s in junk yards or searching for oem/good quality replacement parts online is just getting so hard these days.
Hey Tyson, Are you going to add factory driving/fog lights. I can’t wait to see the finished project. You always do such a great job with restoration of your cars.
I am thinking of buying a 1987 Legend in the same color combo as yours. It is a rust nightmare and has many more problems, but it seems to be the last edm 2.5 M/T non catalytic converter in existence. It has an unusual driver seat. non electric, ok, but for the height adjustment there is no wheel but a telescopic arm. Never saw that before and I am Legend pro for many years now. Do you ever saw that?
One of my dream cars for sure
Me too!
Always cool to watch these get the TH treatment! 🙂
@@michaeljoseph. thank you!

Thank you! I do love living here

They are great cars. From a collector perspective it's a very small (but devout) community for these!
Your paint looks way better than my '88 Alfa Romeo Milano! The Acura looks great already!
@@davidsherrick898 thank you!

I feel that - it is becoming a challenge!
I just hope that they can give it everything it needs to be the best show car!
Tyson, your attention to detail is second to none. I truly admire that. Wish you the best luck with your project!
Appreciate the kind words!
So exciting!! Love the music you used here, too 🤗
Thank you!
Another car to add to the Apex punchcard! looking forward to the end result Tyson...
@@randomrebuilds absolutely! Thank you
can't wait to see the finished paint job. I wish I was closer to APEX. My 95 Civic needs a nice respray.
Send it over. A buddy sent his Legend here from FL.
Love it, such a great resto project too!
Thanks Mike!
Was this one a patchwork of panel resprays like my Ascot?
Haha, luckily no, this was a blank slate of original paint - and everything matched. Let's hope it all comes out uniformly on the finished product :)
Can’t wait to see how apex finishes it 😎
Me too! Thank you sir!
Got same car Automatic,i love it
@@OGBigDaddy99 awesome!

Thank you! This car has amber colored fogs built into the assembly (center lights). I probably won't add anything else.
My friend had a 93 lend coupe in white.. I tried to buy off of him several times but no go lol
They are great cars!
Can’t wait to see how this comes out! Was that lip spoiler a dealer option? I don’t recall ever seeing a 1G Legend back in the day ever wearing one.
@@theopenroadahead yes it was a dealer-installed thing

I will have to check!
strange to see a car in your fleet with rust!
I know! Well, except the SLX. When I took it for a brake job, the service advisor said, "This thing is rustier than the Titanic."
