Thank goodness for your video, I’d been fiddling around with it for hours. Great product but such a shame so many companies have gone to nonsensical tiny pictorials as instructions which are unfathomable. I wasn't able to separate the second part. Turns out my model has a lock system on the right hand side and you have to either turn the whole thing upside down, or slide a little slider up before they'll separate easily. Most videos don't show this, so it might not be on all models.

For the side arms I pulled them first horizontally (from the bottom) and then up. I think Mark does the same move actually, even though he says just to lift them up.

My bottom bol is stuck, any ideas how I can get it off please? The side bit that connects to the base seems to be moving freely so I don't know why it is stuck. I last used it for juicing ginger.

Update: I ran a thin headed flat screw driver round and it seems that something is sticking up from the base to the pulp colector. I have emailed Philips as I can see no way to fix it without breaking it. Just seen comments below from a year ago - thought I couldn't be the first! Seems that forcing it is the way to go but I shall wait awhile yet.
