Once I discovered that the source of my ill health was multiple food intolerances and I removed those items (gluten, corn, soy, dairy) from my diet/life my health returned- better than ever in my life AND my lifelong depression has resolved as well!! People ask me how I can eat this way.. and I say how can I not? I felt so terrible before. My IBS is gone, arthritis is 95% better, I lost 110 pounds with hardly trying and ran in a mud run at elevation and came in the top 10%!

I fasted to clear out my intestinal track and when I broke it, I went to a combination of sauerkraut, kefir, cruciferous vegetables, olive oil, ginger, garlic with some sardines. I ate this way for over a week.
My body responded with deep dreams, along with restful sleep. All my inflammation went away. My overall mood got better.
More research is needed, because the solution to many of our society's problems are in the food, because of this scientific knowledge.
    Thank you, professor.

GERD is gone as well, my asthma is much better. Unfortunately, my doctor seems to have zero intellectual curiosity about how I have healed. I have stopped taking all of the prescriptions I used to take- DAILY. Cannabinoids should be part of your research as well. My gut felt healed after I ate some medicated food items.

Lmao, you're right though. My brother has ADHD which has to do with low dopamine levels (that might have to do with the gut), but his attention span is a lot longer than mine which probably has to do with his daily medical marijuana

Does the serotonin and dopamine in the gut go to the brain? Does it cross the blood brain barrier? Or is only the dopamine and serotonin that’s made in the brain used in the brain? Where does this serotonin and dopamine of the gut go to?

If you have a neurological disease like MSA and involuntary nervous system is affected like I do you have a constant state of constipation on top of an anal muscle not working and bladder retaining urine plus NOH and other things you now are aware of the involuntary nervous system and it's function. On top of a miserable life you have a terminal illness (life exp- 7 to 9 yrs). People not affected by diseases like MSA or MS should thank the Lord and cherish what you have.

This world is in many ways a "valley of tears" for so many. But for all who trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus there is a happy home awaiting. May I ask you if you think you are getting enough sunlight? The sun has amazing healing powers including stimulating Vitamin D production, shown to be a factor in some MS/MSA situtations, for example: "...While there is strong research demonstrating the association between low vitamin D status and increased risk of adult-onset MS,7,-9 there is a paucity of studies examining this relationship in pediatric MS. In addition, an association between childhood obesity and risk of pediatric MS has been reported,10 though a causal relationship remains to be confirmed. Further, it remains unclear whether the association between increased obesity and MS risk is mediated by low circulating levels of vitamin D, which can be stored in adipose tissue...." www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5405763/ Disclaimer: I'm not medically trained.
