Just use each stump as a BBQ pit until you burn out the middle. Don’t use chemicals or diesel machines to remove them. It will take a while, but it’s better for the planet.😁

Yes, we absolutely would be doing this method if we only had a handful of stumps! As it is, we have dozens upon dozens. Another issue we came across when we did the burning method was that the wetter trees just wouldn't burn sufficiently to kill the stump. The burning works great if it's dryer wood, in our experience!
