I have wanted a leather trench coat since the 70s when I see girls at school wearing them , still not got one yet
I suggest you go out and get one. That’s a long time to have dearly wanted something. I was much like you, I’d wanted one for decades, I’d see other people in them, particularly women and I’d always wished that I was wearing it. So a few years ago (before Covid) I bought a second hand long leather trenchcoat from a woman in my town. This coat can be fully buttoned up for a man or woman as it’s unisex. We met up (it was on EBay) and I tried her trenchcoat on. It fitted perfectly. The coat was made in 1999 and is almost ankle length. I loved how when I walked I could feel the back of the coat hitting the bottom of my calves. It’s been my favourite purchase and is great for being outdoors on a cold windy winters day as it keeps me warm and looks great. It feels awesome to wear and I’ve had women give me compliments while wearing it and some others have brushed their hand on or across it while passing (seemed deliberate) so I’d argue it might have some sex appeal as well. Get one you won’t regret it.

Put a silk scarf on your head to protect your hair from getting messed out of place and makes it easier to pull over your head too
You can use a showercap over your face to protect your makeup and sweater. The hair can be a bit more of a challenge, but that showercap is a lifesaver. I promise.
