Or how to close windows from remote/key fob...
The idea is as simple as pressing and holding a button. I remember how happy I was when I figured out this feature on my Focus.
In this video I'll take you trough step by step on what to do to activate this function after your car has been reset. Remember not all Focus MK1s have this function. Mainly those with all 4 electric windows!

That's because you have full auto windows. Probably a ghia trim level. Does not work at a trend trim level where only driver's window is automatic down only

You guys get all of the cool stuff in Europe. My mk1 estate is one hell of a car, its ashame Ford doesn't ship them over here anymore :(

@@majedmajed8580 you have a SE or SES model my friend last years and no they have to have all power windows to access global control unfortunately. But you do have a rare run of the focus's the end of the 1st gens had some weird combos for instance u have electric and crank windows where as by then all 2007 se an ses over in USA had all electric controls but like unpainted handles mirrors, very strange years around 05-07 when they were trying to decide to end it with a new model an no longer would use the parts.

Hi friend, I'm from Brazil, and I have a Ford Escort Zetec GLX and uses a DB module, it only has function on the door locks, I have the possibility to purchase another model, but what brings me here is because before I will need to add wires to the plugs, so a diagram, a pinout scheme. something else how do you fill that table? what does green spaces mean? and whites?
Hello, yes you'll probably need to change the wiring, but I do not have a diagram for it. Unfortunately I can't help you out.
My button in the speedometer for trunk doesn't work but trunk open with remote. What is a problem?? Need programming like windows??
Probably the button is faulty.
@@N33sWorkshop When i changed speedometer bulbs i removed trunk button plug and when i inserted after finished changing bulbs it worked until i remove battery. I think the button plug moves from potholes of the road or button is faulty.
I don't know if you will see it but there is no clicking sound from the driver's window

Todas las ventanas se cerrarán, las ventanas Facelift también se pueden abrir.

I just had 1 key and I didn't hear anything about different keys on this model.
Over 15 years ago some cars already pulled frónt windows down automatically before doors were open so air compresion was avoided. I don't understand why didn't come with that function in 2019. Is there a way to set it up oneself??

i had this on my corsa ,but now i have a focus 2012 only front electric windows ,is there any way my fob might close the windows

It works only with mk1,5 (2001-) but don't work with mk1 (98-2001).
Mk1 doesn't have this black module.
The car in the video is a MK1...
I have mk1 from the end of 2000 - beginning of 2001, and my car have this ability.

Thanks for the reply! I was just too lazy to go out to my car and try it haha. I tried it now, and no go on my 2002 SE wagon in the US :(. It seems the US spec first gen Is really barebones, I'm jealous of all the creature features the Euro-spec Focus got that we didn't after watching your "Facts about the Mk1 Focus" video! Beyond that though they're really solid cars, and I love mine! I've added a lot of modern comforts through the aftermarket so I hope it gives me years more of reliable transport!
Well, you could import a euro spec ghia focus or a JDM focus if you would like to retrofit some features.

Somebody told me about this, even if you have 4 power windows, it doesn't work on a US model. I think electronics are different...

Depending on the GEM module, the process is similar. Since I don't have a facelift Focus, I don't know...
