This gear set is definitely fun. I added 2 blue cores right now to test because I'm nuts and I like to push. Also, I went with Test Subject. I used MA at first, but It doesn't proc as often as I like. Right now, 3 Red, 3 Yellows, 2 Blue. It may change later. Cheers Bandidos.
Use Defender Drone on your build, during overcharge that's a 80% dmg reduction on that ability. Booster Hive can also make you immune to status effects and grants you a ton of weapon handling. Or even the Decoy will take aggro from everything with that build.
Yes! Been trying to figure out how to make this work as Mechanical Animal is one of my go to ARs. Being able to put the regen jn the gear rather than skill repairs is genius. Means I can drop a repair skill and focus on damage or CC. Foundry was never strong enough, but I think this is it.
Bro this build is amazing. I can't tell you how much fun I've been having with this and I'm only on Heroic content right now. This build and your older build 1 for ongoing directive after the rework are top tier. I am a returning player, last time I played Faye Lau was the manhunt prime target and before that it was launch month of the Division 2. I just wasn't interested in the game back then but the way they have improved the game so far has kept me really playing non-stop. However you are one of the first content creators who makes actual unique builds that I have found. Big thank you for your awesome ideas and sharing your beastly builds.
I tried with turret as distraction and shield. Most of time shield will be between tier 4-6, so out of cover to use Umbra damage talent in more safe manner to take a few hits because this build has no armour and no PFE. Used AKM with future perfection, does the job in one magazine. With shield at tier 6, then you can really be out of cover and have fun playing like it's hunter fury.
Ive watched a couple of your build videos using busy little bee and youve changed my mind on it. Ive been using it the last few days after getting an idea for a hybrid build and now i realize how important it is when you forego weapon damage cores.

Hopped on this game for Something To Do just before the Season 10 breakdown / Season 11 delay. I've had enough time to play to try a few builds and assemble a few goodies and get the Busy Bee, but I kinda suck at this game, don't have a stash full of unique toys, and nothing is optimized. Thanks for this build idea, it has been a lot of fun to play and is extremely versatile for what gear I have. I've been running it with 4 skill tiers, MA, Picaro's blue core, and Catharsis and Gunner spec to get me out of trouble while getting used to playing Umbra. If I want to lean into weapon DPS a bit more, I switch to Technician, run an FAL with linked laser (flatline and DmTOC), and swap a yellow core for red and Catharsis for a Fenris piece. Pets still have enough survivability to draw aggro while I run and gun, even without MA to buff their level.
i have been testing this umbra with run and gun type of gameplay. 3 red 3 blue core with new exo pistol its amazing . Gonna make new hybrid soon. Thanks for the video
not sure I follow.. don't you need 3 piece HF for armor on kill? How would you then combine it with umbra? So I'll assume no Umbra, but instead 2 piece Brazos? but not the backpack, because HF backpack sucks right? so 3 piece HF + 2 piece Brazos + memento? (including picaros?) need more data.
@@StanJM sorry bro. I just don't understand what you're trying to build. Are you saying get HF with Skill Tiers or Weapon Damage? Are you building a skill build or a hybrid or a dps build? Are you even using any Umbra in here? because 2 piece Umbra with a backpack makes little sense to me, and if you're going glasscannon on the chest, there's no other piece you can use Umbra to unlock the 2 piece if that's what your goal is.. which I am unclear on... You're responding to a video on Umbra + brazos.. so it makes sense to at least have some connection to that, but I'm getting the impression your build is something different entirely. I cannot read your mind unfortunately, although I thought your build might be interesting if it involves HF.

I am a bit bored picking up backpack trophies and I’ll do anything to avoid the capacitor, even the sound it makes is becoming annoying. And when you introduced the Mechanical Animal I screamed YES because I’ve always liked that AR and then your voice over goes “I was surprised too”. Bloody hilarious mate. I tries this yesterday with crappy Brazos kneepads, bur it takes a while to get used to. Not sure what to think abour it yet but I love the 4th piece talent on Umbra. I use the Test Subject instead of the MA.

They haven't changed it. I've had dozens of them drop from countdown since it's been released. I was proficient within a couple of days. Maybe I was just lucky. Its a shame I'm not that lucky with exotics. If I get 1 a week it's a miracle!
hey Tux, did you try with a different AR and non-perfect Future Perfect? Not a giant fan of the Sig556, and just wondering if that extra uptime on the duration of the skill tiers is worth it? overcharge is kinda whatever with turret and drone, but nice for group play I suppose.

Crit mods on weapons, crit attributes on gear, fully maxed out watch. Mine isn't maxed, nor is my gear fully optimized and right now I managed 52% (good enough for now, especially when the buff is active)
@@dharmaputra319 for me its weapon - 15%, 23.8% from attributes on gear (mask, backpack, gloves, holster), 15% from gear set 2 piece bonus (I think that's what you missed), 0.4% from watch = 54.2% (I wasn't on my computer last night when I answered you lol) A maxed out watch gives 10% so if I had that I could lean more into CHD
As fun as this may seem, unless you play solo, you dont always get the kill, and then that would mean getting skill tiers through the kills wont make much sense? That being said, if i was to just play it safe, is it better to have balanced yellows and reds? like 1 skill tier from Technician, 1 from the 2 piece bonus and maybe 2 more yellow for 4, and then 4 reds? or just have 6 skill tiers anyway, i mean is it a build that you rely on your skills for the kill or the guns for the kill ..
all very great points. You can run in sync talent and more skill tiers if you have hard time getting kills. But umbra does a great job juicing up the primary weapon even in 4 man group. Yeah, just toss on more skill tiers then switch guns. Cause each skill tier will weaken primary, so better off with capacitor or test subject as you load on more skill tiers imo. This is one of the very very few builds the mechanical animal works for me.

@@TuxedoBandido yea I farmed brazos today and not a single Picaros. And I threw old ones out bc they were dropping b4 left and right like you said. Oh and I meant ge keeping stats from tracking. I noticed recently that my headshot kills, hynena/TS/outcast kills, etc weren't counting towards leaderboard while ge was active. I wasn't sure if this was a glitch or had always been the case. I actually enjoy polarity switch but haven't been turning on as much after noticing my stats aren't being counted while activated
.....not easy to get the Picaro's Holster with crit chance but I'm farming "The Summit" as much aspossible....thx! I just recently changed to Shield and Artificer for the farming, better mobility but I have tried them with skills and it's really good in deed......luckly enough I found a Famas with Crit dmg on the 3rd, I just had to roll talent....not bad....

@@TuxedoBandido the busy little bee is glitched at the moment. Once you've loaded it up and switched to any primary weapon regardless of talent it increases the skill damage massively. My turret goes from just over 100k to way over 250k after the talent is active.

But they didn't fix anything, Picaros holster is still not as intended. (You're suppose to be able to roll red core) as well as blue or yellow. Ps. I do love this game and ofc I got love for the creators of it.. just saying when things are bad they obviously bad. Great builds as usual keep it up!

No not at all, not DZ exclusive. I get so many 🤔. Rng isn't your friend, it will popup 👍

I used the Police but went back to sig. not for the extra time for talent, but for better handling of ammo issues

How'd you get the knees to drop with both crit slots? Best I can get is one crit and skill damage...

You got to get out of cover to build stacks for 5 seconds. Stay behind cover, just not “in cover”. Watch the icons below as you do it.

With umbra, running out of ammo is a possibility. A secondary weapon that uses different ammo is a good idea.

I think I use it in Manning Legendary and see what happens
This build looks like fun and will most likely not take rare drops
As soon as you switch from the Mechanical Animal to the Busy Bee you'll lose your tiers
Now I have to farm again lol
