Good to see this project continuing to progress! I think doing the ground collision is going to be tricky, as it is very uneven. SotN is pretty simple in comparison, with mostly flat surfaces (although some sections have slopes and stairs). I'm sure you'll be able to work it out though :)

Certain SNES games dropped "Super" from their Genesis version. What if you named this version "Metroid III"?
