Wow! I so needed this. I'm 66, newly divorced after 47 years of marriage. I've had no desire to move forward or do anything. Your wonderful, amazing mother in law gave me inspiration and hope. I WILL be grateful for what I have right now and stop wishing for something else. Thank you Mel Robbins, you are a God Sent. ❤
Wishing you a beautiful healing journey. ❤I finally feel my heart is mending after a long while but it helped me to fall back I love with myself a little every day. Big hugs ❤
We all need this, I am a widow, I just got a newer better job, and I am constantly learning new things. Instead of waiting around to do things, I reward myself with things I want to do. The reason for this is there is no time like the present to be my own best friend. And to do things so I care about and want to do. I started a plant collection, I started doing good things for my own life.
Amazing life story..So inspiring am going to try getting back active. Kinda fell in to do nothing attitude friends passing, Family Losses was always active but all the losses and COVID loss my get up and go attitude wow this interview great reminder I Am NOT Dead Yet..start planing the days it's ok to keep living life after losses.
When we lose people in our lives, it shows us how fleeting life can be. I'm getting back out there, doing things I enjoy in life. Started doing things I put off year after year. And doing them when and where I can.
This was absolutely breath taking. I'm 31 and couldn't get enough of it. I would be so grateful if you would do more podcasts with happy, connected, wise women. I believe it's what women need most right now - so much pressure to be young and perfect. Getting a look at what can be, it will have a place in my heart for the rest of my life ❤
Truly inspiring. What a class act. And I think maybe Chris chose a bride who will keep up with his mom! What an amazing family you all are. Judith, I won't forget this interview. Proof that aging, in itself, is not a disease. You go, girl!!!
Hi Mel, I just wanted to write this message to say I am grateful for this podcast, you, your team, and guest. I currently have gone through a 9 day depression where I haven’t showered or taken care of myself. Just have been eating poorly and sleeping. Watching this podcast today gave me advice and tools to use to motivate myself to live. Thank you for doing what you do. I love you. And I believe in you too. Sending you positive vibes and light 💛💖💝
I am in the same place only 5 days...inspiring. I already drank Energen C and walked 1 mile. A little at a time is so much better than none. So grateful for you Both.
4 days for me. So-oo much to cope with. Grief over losing a family member. Anxiety, feeling fear and feeling stuck in a downward spiral. I feel less alone reading your comment. I wish you well, thank you so much.

I think this is one of your best shows to date! And that is saying something, because you have had some great shows…but Judy was so direct with her wisdom that I could have listened for hours. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Wow! I wasn't expecting to be so emotional during this podcast! I'm 54, I lost my mother last year and my little brother the year before. Poor mum died 4 days before her and dad were to move into a villa that was more mobility friendly leaving their house of 30+ years. So the move went ahead and I stayed with dad and moved in. Dad has stage 5 kidney disease so I have given up work to care for him. My brother and I never had children so I found myself on my own at this point. When Judy said life is a process I couldn't agree more. I tell people this has been the worst 2 years of my life but also the greatest. The legitimate overwhelm of 2 deaths, moving 2 houses and the lifestyle overwhelm I put on myself totally broke me. Even through that shit time after my brother died I became a lot closer to my parents and now I am dad's carer. So blessed that I could spend the time with them. Seeing Judy gives me hope, I am my own worst enemy now, poor lifestyle choices to cope and prior to this I was wondering where did that organised, pro active, happy person go? Trying to join the dots, I put some of it down to post menopausal 3 years without HRT. I've not long discovered your podcasts and they have been helping too. Also the fact that your Mel Robbins and you have your moments too. Thank you both x Tracy
We see you. Similar situation here. It is a blessing and does take a lot out of you and your identity. ❤ let others help as much as possible prayers and love for you and your Dad❤
Mel and Judy I loved❤ this . Listened to it as a podcast . I’m a huge fan of you, the show and your books Mel . Your MIL is amazing . I’m 60 this year and I want to ge just like her when I’m in my 80s . She’s an inspiration . Please do more interviews with her . I’ve just rejoined gym after a gap of 3 and a half years . Kate
I can’t tell you how much this episode meant to me. Your MIL is just an inspiration to all the women out there. I absolutely loved her, her energy, her enthusiasm and attitude towards life. Loved your relationship with her too. Everything about this episode is worth watching over n over.. please interview more of such wise (older) women who have seen n done it all, so us younger generation can get inspired … ❤️🤗
Omg I love your mother-in-law! She is so inspiring! I’m 71 and relate to her late start in life in running and getting and staying in shape! I’m going to start walking 5 miles a day and find something I can do to meet and make new friends. Mel … I’m addicted to your podcasts!😍
I’m so glad that she mentioned not getting calls from kids and grandkids😢yes they love. Us but everyone’s busy so we have to get busy too!! Family Sunday dinners…gone , maybe once in awhile if we’re lucky😃I’m so thankful for friends!❤️
I love this amazing podcast! I'm 58 and have been unhappy.. I hope i take action in my life to enter my senior years with so much enthusiasm and joy! Thank you both! ❤
When I was 9yo I asked my 70yo Grandmother how she stayed so young and healthy: she said “take care of your teeth and posture!” This is a wonderful interview and I admire the women who lead the way. Thank you ladies ❤🙏🏻
Mel I listen to your podcast like always … I’m going to be 70 years old, I’ve been widowed since I was 65. I’m healthy, and have felt lost for a while. This episode is a life game changer. Thank U, Thank U, Thank U …. Mua! 😂
Wow, I’m absolutely amazed at how your lovely MIL has always had a man in her life, especially after she was widowed!!! How encouraging that know that you can still meet people that you can fall in love with even in your 70’s and 80’s. Also impressed how awesome she looks, definitely looks at least 10 years younger. She’s so blessed!
My husband and I went to Thailand in our sixties. I was a teacher and he was head of the boarding school. Some thought we were crazy., but we loved it. We are in good health and involved in our community and church. But wow! Going to a dude ranch at 85! I’m going to up my game. Thank you, Judy and Mel, for the inspiration to live a BIG, BOLD life. ❤❤
She is the living example of the Positive Psychology approach to life. She has definitely built a life of meaning and purpose and she faces every day with kindness, gratitude and optimism. She is a true testimony of how optimists live a happier, healthier and longer life. Tremendously inspiring!
So needed to hear this! I’m 63 and about to retire from “work”, and this is such a wonderful way to approach my next chapter. I have less fear about filling my time, my mind and build my social network. I’m an introvert, and I have to push myself to make the friend connections, so important! ❤ being of service to others has always been a comfort zone, and there are opportunities, I’m Looking into the Meals On Wheels program.
How lucky you are - to have this lovely, genuine woman as your mother-in-law. Not everyone is as lucky. I had a good mother-in-law, and I was very grateful to have her!
What an INCREDIBLE episode. I took so many lessons away and three in particular: 1) GRATITUDE: "If you're wishing for something else, you are rejecting what you have." Wow! That is so powerful. 2) The importance of FRIENDSHIPS. To call not text! I've reached out to a few friends that live in other countries about catching up over the phone and I'm excited about it. And 3) To move your body every day. I couldn't agree more on that one! Thank you Mel and Judy! Sending a big virtual hug from Munich, Germany. Daniela
I'm not even half way through this conversation but I am buzzing with inspiration. I'm 51, separated and have been trying to create a new life which I'm actually very excited about and this has just given me an added dimension to what I'm already doing. Amazing women 🙏
It makes my day better and makes me happy to see a woman in 85 year has such a spirit and lives her life to the fullest ❤️😍 she is such and inspiration to me and is a goals for me to live my life in the moment and be grateful in my life like her 😊 Thank you for this episode🙏🏻🌹
A wonderful and inspiring interview, Mel, your husband and family are so lucky to have her words and example in your lives. I'm 64 and do my bs to keep active and motivated. We need role models like Judy! Thanks so much for interviewing her and shaing. Your best episode, ever!
That's right Judy. I'm 62 and grateful. I'm glad i came across this video. I don't have alot of money to go to certain places, but I find thing's to do.
Wow! This was such a great episode! Thank you for sharing 🙏. Can she please write her own book! Wonderful information. Really makes you think about your life from a different perspective 💞😘
Loved this insightful podcast. "stay active, appreciate the process, be grateful for what you have, & don't waste your time wishing for what you don't have". Simple & practical
Love the Hospice advise. We recently relocated and at this age finding it hard to make new friends. The children are nearby which is a blessing but they have busy lives. the whole interview was very inspiring; Judy is inventive and definitely a doer! We’re the same age; I wish she lived nearby 😊 Thanks Mel starting to feel better for your interviews! 🫶
I absolutely LOVED this! Judy is incredibly wise and motivated to enjoy everything to the fullest but to serve others as well. What a gift she is! Lucky you, Mel!!!❤❤❤
This is spot on! I personally believe, when we age we slow down “because it’s too hard” or “we’re too old for that” and we believe those limitations. We stop trying… and we start sitting. I’m only 43 but when I sit around too much my body starts to tighten up, I feel less energetic and flexible. Mel’s MIL is onto something powerful! She looks/ sounds maybe 65 in this video.
This was one of your best Mel! I love hearing from older vibrant people to hear how they are rockin it because I want to be one of those people! Thanks!
Mel I love listening to your mom. Im gonna be 70 on my next birthday. I dont feel old so age is just a number. For me Being grateful every day is the foundation of happiness and gives me the mental energy to pursue the things in life that I enjoy, and also being of service to others keeps me grateful. Thank you to you both for this discussion!!
Mel, I watched this yesterday and have thought of your MIL all day long. As a 68 year old woman with husband in end stage Parkinson's it really gave me hope for my 4th act! I too prioritize health. I would love for you to have her back for more questions. Diet? Exercise besides walking? Does she drink? Other pearls of wisdom? She is the bomb!
I'm an "active 68 years old" and I made SO many notes during this podcast. Connection is something I've neglected because I was in workaholic mode up until about a year ago. And before that I was caught up in Ironman racing which complemented my achiever and perfectionist mindset, but gotta say I'm proud of 10 Ironman finishes including a couple of world championships. So much wisdom here, including the idea of hospice training - never thought of it, but my dad passed while in hospice care, during a time when I was knee-deep in self-validating Ironman training. I would love to give back there. Mel, thank you for bringing your mother-in-law to share her wisdom!
What a wonderful Judie! She reminds me of my mother-in-law who left our world several years ago. I’ve gotten SO MUCH out of this video I can’t thank you enough for sharing 💕💕💕
This is my favorite ever Mel. I love the ‘wish your life away’. Be grateful for now. The privilege to move. Exercise and mind health are key! Much love to you and your mother-in-law. Just love your channel. 🩵🩵🩵
HOME RUN! HOME RUN! HOME RUN! What a trip🥳 So inspiring and full of knowledge and life🥰 Mel, Here’s what you were asking for regarding ideas to speak on! Your MIL AND YOU together are life changing and just what we needed to hear today! So glad I tuned in🙌🏼 Laughing all by myself funny😂❌⭕️
I can't tell you how impressed I am with the authenticity of this conversation I feel like I'm sitting here listening to the family members that I wish I had grown up with! elephant to my family I love them they're pretty much all dead and I outgrew them as a child anyways. Now THIS is what I've been talking about the whole life talk to people not about them!!! ❤❤❤❤I LOVE THIS conversation and these women!
From her giggle to her blunt and inspiring wisdom, Judie helped me see what I have to look forward to!! I wanna be just like her! Thanks Judie!! and thanks Mel for another amazing show!
This is a magnificent conversation! This "episode" highlights and demystifies so many "social norms" to aging. As always, thank you, Mel and Co.! P.S. - to your Mother-in-law, she is a wonderful woman to listen to. Looking forward to another sit down with her! ❤
What a great conversation. I admire you for having such a relaxed relationship with your MIL, who by the way, is just lovely. I can't help notice the resemblance between you two, looks and incredible spirited. Hugs to you both. Cheers to good health: mind, body and spirit. It's a wonderful gift. ❤
Thank you Mel for inviting Judy to share precious words to us. Her life experienced. I admire her. Things I need to change. Thanks Judy. Wish I have a friend like you. ❤
Very beautiful interview Mel! Congrats and Thanks! I'll let it to listen again more quietly and comment it to my mum! All the best Mel, thanks for your great sensitivity and search for happiness and development!
I feel like so many talks on women’s health/lifestyle end with menopause. How genuinely wonderful to find someone so upbeat, bright and thoughtful to share positive inspiration. Will you please, please make her a regular?
I love this!! Your Mom is so inspiring 💗 I really enjoyed this. I'm 65 and I'm doing some of these things already. When I retire from my job I definitely will be going back to companion others in hospice. I used to do this and like your Mom said it's rewarding to do for others. Thank you for this Mel and Judy!!❤
I listened to the podcast this morning. I have to say that I was intrigued by all of the wonderful insights and the engaging stories! Your MIL is an inspiration for me as I look at my own life and and at my aging parents. Recently, I lost both of my in-laws and my MIL shared a lot of similarities with Judy. Thank you Mel and Judy, for filling my soul today🙏🏼❤️
Thank you Mel,. This is the first time I saw your pot cast. Your mother in law was wonderful, she gave me a reason to start having a better day. Thanks again.
How inspiring. I’ll soon be 55, have recently remarried and have been blessed with a new active life. My husband who is the same age runs and encourages me to keep moving, also. We have to make the most of the life we’ve been given
This has been my favorite podcast!!!! Admit to a few tears....I was widowed at 55, now79.....I have had relationships , a very full existence , but no sense of direction. I often feel empty. Knowing giving is the best therapy I have worked in Hospice as well and continue full time in my profession . But listening to you this morning I get that I've not been fully present, like waiting for something better to happen . So grateful I stumbled on this this morning ❣️❣️❣️
From the far South of Chile i thank you for this podcast. It was so very inspiring. I am 76 years old and Judy made my day. Please, please bring her again. Since i listened to her, i started walking every day. Thanks again . I love you both
I'm turning 60 in 2 weeks (what???) This milestone b'day is hitting me hard. I didn't think I'd be alone/single, still struggling financially and seeking for what I want to be when I grow up. I came back to this last night and will keep listening and seeking inspiration like this. What an amazing woman! I've been dreaming of traveling and LOVE the idea of teaching English to help offset the cost. Yessss! Thank you, thank you Mel and Judi for inspiring us all and showing us what's possible 🥰🤩💥🙌
Such an inspirational message. Thanks for sharing, Mel and Judy! I’m a physical therapy doctor with a passion for health and wellness. Judy, you certainly are the picture of aging beautifully, inside and out.
Judy, Judy, Judy😊 Be grateful, like you and Mel have said about where you are at in your life. Dont look at what you dont have or wish your life away. Am I strong, am I able to feed myself, is my family healthy, etc., be grateful for what you have, everything else is a bonus. What a great interview, lots of golden nuggets in this one. Love you Mel, thank you Judy. P.S. Judy your hair is gorgeous. Have a beautiful day.
Mel, either get her on as a "much loved side kick' or...get her her own show. I needed her today. My gosh I needed to see a vibrant , energetic, with It lovely gal. I am doing pretty well...54, upright, mobile and drama free...some of her secrets I have discovered...but a few as I stated...I Needed to hear.
omg my new badass role model, how lucky their grandchildren to have her .. I also had a great grandma.. thank you for this big share of knowledge. Priceless 💗
This was fantastic! Judy needs her own podcast! Please do more with Judy. What a great example for people to follow ❤

This was one of your best Mel! I love hearing from older vibrant people to hear how they are rockin it because I want to be one of those people! Thanks!
Awwww how old are you now ❤
Amazing Judy Robbins 🎉 Thank You for sharing this Magnificent talk. This is Truly the Perfect Prescription for Longevity. Everyone needs to see this 😊
She's cool. That was fun!
Wow she’s amazing, I hope I’m like this at 85 if I’m lucky enough to live that long!
HOLY SMOKES!!! Wow. Thats a lot of accomplishments.
What a wonderful Judie! She reminds me of my mother-in-law who left our world several years ago. I’ve gotten SO MUCH out of this video I can’t thank you enough for sharing 💕💕💕
Awww ❤ I bet you’re an awesome grandma
This is the kind of podcast we all need. I loved it .❤😊
This is my favorite ever Mel. I love the ‘wish your life away’. Be grateful for now. The privilege to move. Exercise and mind health are key! Much love to you and your mother-in-law. Just love your channel. 🩵🩵🩵
The best interview EVER. Surprised to find myself so inspired at 73.
HOME RUN! HOME RUN!
HOME RUN!
What a trip🥳 So inspiring and full of knowledge and life🥰 Mel, Here’s what you were asking for regarding ideas to speak on! Your MIL AND YOU together are life changing and just what we needed to hear today! So glad I tuned in🙌🏼
Laughing all by myself funny😂❌⭕️
I can't tell you how impressed I am with the authenticity of this conversation I feel like I'm sitting here listening to the family members that I wish I had grown up with! elephant to my family I love them they're pretty much all dead and I outgrew them as a child anyways. Now THIS is what I've been talking about the whole life talk to people not about them!!! ❤❤❤❤I LOVE THIS conversation and these women!
What a wonderful interview with your mother! It was great to witness your interaction. Your mother sounds amazing and very wise. 💗
Great conversation with your beautiful mother in-law, Judy! Thanks for sharing her with us. 🌹🌹
This woman needs her own podcast or TH-cam channel
thank you so much for this show today. I am in my 70s and living in the moment hoping my decisions are fruitful for my future !!! thanks..!!!
From her giggle to her blunt and inspiring wisdom, Judie helped me see what I have to look forward to!! I wanna be just like her! Thanks Judie!! and thanks Mel for another amazing show!
I have listened to this at least 50 times😂😂😂
I plan to listen everyday this month January 2024!!! Love you Judy (and Mel)
Oh how I love Judy!! She is officially the most bad-ass woman I know now, too! Thanks for sharing this dynamo with us today. 🙏🏻❤️
This is a magnificent conversation! This "episode" highlights and demystifies so many "social norms" to aging.
As always, thank you, Mel and Co.!
P.S. - to your Mother-in-law, she is a wonderful woman to listen to. Looking forward to another sit down with her! ❤
Just so nice. Thank you!

Wow!!! Absolutely love, love, love this episode!!! Judy is such an inspiration!!! Thank you🙏🙏🙏
I feel like so many talks on women’s health/lifestyle end with menopause. How genuinely wonderful to find someone so upbeat, bright and thoughtful to share positive inspiration. Will you please, please make her a regular?
WHAT A TREASURE JUDY IS. I’m am so inspired by her and her beautiful ethos for life. Thank you so much, Mel. You two are spectacular. ❤❤
She looks amazing. Her hair and skin are good!!!! As my almost 85 year old mil and 84 year old mom would say. A southern compliment.❤️
I love her!!! Very inspirational!! I wish she would write a book!! ❤️ Thank you for this podcast!!
Awww how long have you been on this field ?
Thank you Mel & Judie!
It was just what this 60 year old gal needed to hear today 😁
young you are young! 😁
Judy, Judy, Judy😊
Be grateful, like you and Mel have said about where you are at in your life.
What a beauty! I learned so much from this fabulous guru. Wow, I am overjoyed. Thank you to the Robbins!
This talking about concern and going to the source to speak your concerns is beautiful.
Priceless 💗
Omg i LOVE ur mom!!
