Some great watches this week James, Not seen the Amityville remake but i do own both versions, i have been told the remake is the better movie as well. Like you i am not that keen on Raging Bull, one of those movies that i can watch only once. I am the same with Eden Lake, really enjoyed it but not a film i can rush back too. I watched and really enjoyed the Fear Street movies this week, if you have Netflix i recommend those. Thanks mate.
Hi James, The Guardian is a brilliant movie, I watch it at least once a year, I do enjoy long movies though 🧐 I think the Amityville Horror remake is a decent remake 👌sometimes movies need a second viewing. The original film still scares me to death but I still prefer it to the newer version 🤔 Scorsese in my opinion is a little overrated 😬 Idiocracy is more like a documentary with the way of the world at the moment 🤣 it’s a great movie. You can’t have it in your collection on blu-ray anyway James as it isn’t available anywhere in the world. Take care mate👍😃👍
I bought and watched Raging Bull on the recommendation of a fellow older pupil when we were doing South Pacific at my old High School. I totally understood it as a film and think it is one of the best Hollywood films of the 1980s and arguably Scorsese’s best. I usually enjoy most films, but if there was one I’m not keen on it has to be The Shawshank Redemption. I found it rather dull.
I have a haul I have to watch.
I’ve never seen raging bull either
was well made just wasnt rewatchable for me

I need to catch up on my movie watching. I've been binge watching TV shows lately.
I have tendency to do that to, but re watching over and over I've decided to try to reduce to add new movies in at least a bit more

@@IanThomson-md5yx just not for me
You say you'd watch Rocky again over the classic Raging Bull. But Rocky is actually the older film. I think they both fall into the classic bracket
@roybarratt5609 I just meant it terms of boxing films, there are quite a few to choose.
There are two types of movie watches turn your brain off Action s***. And movies that make you think
