Hey Neuro! Love these vids, they are very helpful as a diamond 3 Zerg trying to get better. I have a quick question about what you said regarding queen damage around 11:30. As far as I understand, queens do 9 damage once to air units, and 4 damage twice to ground units. Given that the Medivac has 1 armor, and Marines have 0, is it not the case that a queen will do the same damage against un-upgraded Medivacs and Marines? 8 to both? Maybe I’m missing something about attack speed, and certainly your advice is true once the marines start getting armor upgrades. It appears targeting the Medivacs is still worth it, I was just curious if there is a real damage difference against 0-0 marines. Thanks!

Is queen ground damage 2x4 or flat 4 damage? I thought it was much closer to air damage than what you were looking at.
8 in total… but in 2 hits… thats why queens suck against zealots.. they have 1 armor so the damage is 6…
@@luisvega3505 Wowwww, I didn’t know Zealots had 1 armor. I always knew they were light units, and I thought all light units had a base of 0 armor.
Does anyone have the build order for thia zerg build? I havent neen able to find one for 17 pool, hatch, gas.
17 pool, 17 hatch, 17 gas. Pool finished: six lings, queen, fill gas. Overlord, drone, send main queen to natural, build second queen, pull off gas at 100 and get speed, (this all happens while lings are crossing map). From there just drone like crazy, next overlord around 32, take a third. Should have minerals at natural saturated by 3:40
Thank you so much! What are your thoughts on this pool first vs the one described by pig. I believe it's a 17 gas, pool, hatch. It's a 4 long attack with a 4 speed ling follow up
@@jasonackermann4171 Pig and the person who taught me this build are both GMs and I am not, so take this with a grain of salt... but my goal here is basically to put them on the defensive, stop cheese bunker/cannon rush, 12 pool builds, etc, then transition straight to macro. You often get free wins vs protoss since most people below D2 don't reliably know how to wall, and free advantage vs terran via free reaper kill/distraction, or forcing a cancel on a low-ground CC. After the opening I just play standard macro zerg. I don't really know and haven't practiced with pig's version, but I don't think it would accomplish my goals with this build as well as my version does. I'm the other person in this video.
