This is the first time my eyes has seen a Sayoc Winkler RnD Special Forces Fighting Tomahawk. Impressed. Craftsmanship at its finest. Thank you for another informative video Rolando 🥋.
Sensei Estocada, the Winkler RnD Tomahawk has become so rare, expensive, and sought-after that some makers have started producing knock-offs. A comparison video on how to tell a fake from an authentic Winkler would be greatly appreciated.
Nice walnut, looking forward to see you move with it. Have you considered getting or making a trainer for the Winklers? I bought one, plastic, it's thin and light. Been working on another, from a 3/4" thick piece of G-10. It's close to finished, but it's not for sparring, it hits like a hammer.
Hi Marz: I have considered it but I’m of two minds. I think trainers are great if you’re doing partner work. However, the balance and feel of the majority of trainers (tomahawks et al) are often VASTLY different from the actual tool itself. With that in mind, I often train with the actual tool, to make sure I’m always “tuned” to the weapon (not the fighting system). This is what I mean whenever I sign-off after every episode; “stay tuned” means training with the actual tool. I recommend this only with expert supervision - DO NOT train with live weapons without expert supervision. I personally always train with (and demonstrate mostly with) live weapons on my channel. I think that’s the best service I can provide for my viewers. 🙏🏽🔥👊🏽
I get it - I think it’s worth saving for. My entire Estocada practice is based on the tool educating me on its proper use (ie increased familiarity). Good tools give good education (that I got from Bagwell).
I’m can see your point, I’d love to spend two months mortgage on one of these beauties but I’m pretty sure my wife would kick me out ! I’ll miss her 😂!!
The terminal list 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇲🦅

Thank you my friend. It is a true work of art that has, in my opinion, more to offer than what is obvious on the surface.
Such an incredibly tailored weapon for modern combatives. Thanks for showing the unique intracacies. Stellar!
Thank you Mark! Martial application episode is this Saturday. 🙏🏽
Beautiful blade.
🙏🏽
Sweet buy and If you get a chance check out the Omnivore Bladeworks Imamba, Imamba XL, and Taipan.
Still waiting on mine to be finished from Winkler Actual. Should be within the next month. Hella stoked for it.
You have every reason to be!

beautiful tomahawk, any reason you went with the walnut over maple grip? I have generally seen more maple grips, thanks!
There’s just a feel to it that I like. Plus I like walnut flavors in my cigars so I thought I’d stay consistent 😂
Good looking hacker 🎉
Being not so wealthy I got a knockoff. Still happy. I just couldn't afford the real deal

@RolandoEstocada as a fabricator and home blacksmith I'm working on a new design with all your teachings and styles of the Tomahawk.
Have jack carr show us his moves.lol
I wouldn’t mind seeing that! 🙏🏽
