I second this. A good challenge is to bring that food/water day in and day out. Hypothetically you can just survive a few days of bad luck. A week or more? You gotta get it done. Especially with the water situation over there in Australia.
Go do 3 days first. Then 7. You’ll realize 30 would be absolute torture and almost impossible. I want this guy to have fun, not die.

On one of your earlier videos from two years ago, you told people to just get out and enjoy the outdoors. So, on a whim I packed my backpack and headed to The Badlands National Park in South Dakota. I purposely chose a rather harsh yet beautiful area. I had to pack in a gallon of water 💧, plus what was in the Camelback. I hiked in six miles and spent the night. It was almost 90⁰ and windy. It got down to a peaceful 54⁰ that evening. I could hear the coyotes at night. I also saw a rattlesnake. I packed in my eReader, but didn't read much and just enjoyed my environment. I ate a meal of spaghetti 🍝, a backpacking meal. I'm now fifty-seven years old. I will try and do these adventures while I still can. I hope that you inspire people, especially young people, to get out and make their own adventures!

Love catfish. One of my favs. Only thing is I prepare and cook it myself.
You can get rid of the muddy flavour of catfish (or any freshwater fish) in a number of ways: either put them in a spiced brine for a day, soak them in buttermilk, or use plenty of strong spices. Another option would be cold smoking, where you first cure the fish in a mix of salt, sugar and spices, after which you let it sit in cold smoke for about 4 to 8 hours. Quite delicious!
Here in North Texas we usually eat it either blackened or deep fried.. I think they’re delicious! 😅
@@DorisGameiro I've had catfish over here in the Netherlands as well! A pay water close to my home village occasionally has African dwarf catfish in it, so I caught some and prepared them. They are indeed some good eatin'!
Catfish is delicious. The key to get the muddy taste out is soak the filets on buttermilk over night. Then rinse and pat dry. Put some coating on it and fry it up. It’s seriously good fish. That bush bread looked delish 👍

You should do a truck tour, that thing seems pretty cool. The roof pops up in the back, fold-out table on the side. I bet it has a bunch of other amenities for camping too. We have nothing like that in america, I'm sure fans would love it.
To prepare a catfish you need to soak the cleaned fillets in very salty water for an hour or two. This will get rid of the muddy taste, then cook it.

Catfish is only good if is soaked in buttermilk and lemon. Then cut into nuggets, breaded and fried. I like to double fry it...... first fry with bread crumbs and seasonings. Pull out dip in hot sauce then into a seasoned pancake batter and fried till golden brown. They taste great like this

I live in San Diego California and there’s a lot of people who eat catfish, I personally don’t like it either. I use to work in a grocery store in the meat department and catfish was one of the big sellers in the seafood department, people love that stuff

You can eat catfish, beautiful white meat. However they have mud lines running along the dorsal fin on each side and through the very center. If you fell a them, and pull the mud lines out it's really delicious. Give it a try I'm originally from Baltimore now living in Rockford Illinois. I had waterfront property on the Chesapeake Bay and have eaten many catfish all my life
