- It was a bit windy but otherwise beautiful at Padre Island over spring break 2024. We set the Chevy Silverado HD to 4WD high, lowered the tire pressure and boogied to MP 12 before we lost daylight. No big deal though - we were secluded. Just the way we like it.
Cool video! I’m a local. Thanks for Putting south padre on the map
Thanks for checking it out!

3:25 lol she’s trying to talk to the camper while he’s driving like a maniac hitting every bump he can find this is hilarious. She’s just acting like no big deal bounce off the window bounce off the center consul. No big deal y’all are funny I love this.
She's tough!
“Like being on the Matterhorn” 😂🤣
Nice fish, you caught there, Bob. Keri, where's that good cooking. Looks like a peaceful place to hang out.
Thanks AJ!!

What I would give for my wife of 23yrs to share adventures like that with me
Thank you for watching!
Cool setup, btw, nice flavor savor.
Thanks! I appreciate it
Yes!
I’m jelly I’ve been trying to get my jeep out there as well loved your vid
Thank you! Go get it!
Use the hard heads(saltwater catfish) for cut bait. Grew up in CC and fished the beach a million times. You can catch some big redfish and blk tip sharks with it.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a shot next time out.
Bro! Bad ass truck! 💯 🫡
Thanks dude!
Welll man this is cool
Thanks for watching!
Have you ever thought of down sizing to a Toyota Tundra or Chevy Trail Boss? We just went from a Chevy 2500 Texas edition w/ Duramax pkg, to a 2024 Toyota Tundra Twin Turbo V6 iFoce Max TRD Pro…we LOVE it. Put 1k miles on here in one weekend and did it fast!
Never thought about it. I love this truck too much!
You can clean your glasses cause I just subscribed and hit the like button 😂
Finally!!
I grew up in corpus Christi, and pretty much lived on the beach, we could spot a tourist because every time they go on the beach they get out and let Air out of their tires. No local person does that. IT was a big joke to us, if you know how to drive on the beach you won't get stuck. I would drive my 65 mustang up and down the whole beach and never got stuck. But if you don't know how to drive on the beach, your going to get stuck no matter how much air you let out of your tires...😂😅😊😊😊😊😊
Gotta do what what you gotta do, I suppose. I'm not taking any chances, and why would I when I have such a high-tech deflation device?
Get some fish bites, no mess, just as good as shrimp and can catch 20 fish on 1 piece
I'll try it!
@@Bktruck you will think there's no way a fish would bite it, but I've had many times when the fish would only bite it and not real bait!
This is Jurassic Park... you can catch giant sharks
I will certainly try!
I subscribed, clean those glasses! 😂
Thank you!
Ma damn life!!😂
Ha!
FYI, drones are not permitted within PINS. Would hate to see you get a fine or something from the park rangers.
👍
Big fat speedy tickets are given out often to people speeding like this guy.
👍
what PSI do you shoot for when driving down the beach? The diesels are definitely heavier than a gas truck.
If I remember right, I went from a normal of around 65/70 down to 25 with no issues
did you ever-when you were little-live in olympia washington
I have not...Arizona mostly with a little NY and Memphis
What do you use the baofeng radio for I have one I was in the fire service just wondering hope it serves you well
We use the radios to have comms with each other when not using the phones. Also, the NAOA weather channels are very valuable. We used it a lot when driving through tornado alley.
**NOAA
What is that awning setup?
It's the Overland Vehicle Systems 270 awning wit the additional walls
I want to buy you tire deflators. Washing the needle nose was painful
Totally
I use a stick. They are everywhere and they are free!
whats the radio for?
Just so we can communicate if I'm at the water and Keri is back at the truck, etc.
Is your truck a 2500 hd
Yes it is. 2022.
Joke
What part? N why you worried with it?
