Love the music! Some videos just replay 7 or 8 notes over and over and over. While the coloring may be instructional, the inssessant repetition of those same notes makes it impossible to watch. So thank you for making your videos calming as well as instructional. I watch every day.
Karen this is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are beautiful and the blending of the distress inks is amazing! You blended it without any rings from the applicator.😍💖💖💖💖

I've been coloring since 2015 and I didn't know about distress ink! I still don't lol but I absolutely love that and it beats using oil or soft pastels!

I've never successfully used masking fluid in a johanna book. for some reason it always tears the paper. I've tried both pebeo drawing gum and windsor newton fluid... I can't figure out if I'm leaving it on too long or not long enough... If I'm putting on too much or not enough... taking it off with just my fingers and the eraser thingy... It's frustrating! But that background is just... wow. Just breathtaking.
Ohhh I’ve never had my paper torn. I’ll be doing a video on it soon. But I don’t wait long at all after putting it down before I start colouring. I’d say no more than a few minutes (that’s mostly just due to my lack of patience haha). As soon as I finish with the distress ink I take it straight off. So it’s on for definitely no more than an hour, usually a lot less. You don’t want it too thin or you’ll rub off the paper, too think and it’ll sink in and tear the paper too. So think a thin layer like you would an acrylic paint perhaps. When you rub off I use the pad of my finger in circular motions so it doesn’t pull. Hope that helps 🤗🥰

What are you using as base for the page when you do the ink colours for it to not go on the part you will colour with pencils? 😍😍
I’m using Winsor and Newton masking fluid. I actually have a video coming out tomorrow on how to use this product in our colouring books 🤗😁
