Molly, I can’t even begin to find the right words to describe to you how beautiful this vortex painting turned out! The colors are absolutely GORGEOUS❣️❣️
I loved the original blow out around the edge. If that had a plain green center, wow. Surprised at how well the colours went together. A few more tries and it could be amazing.
Just painting on Christmas. It's just my sister and her husband and my brothers family. Our Mom passed away this last July, so none of us are feeling very festive. Payne's Grey works well with warm colors too. Beautiful ❤️
Molly, I absolutly adore you! You sharing your trials and errors with us are so inspirational and I love and look forward to your videos! Happy Holliday to you, your husband and the cats! 🌲🎁❤
I think this one is really fun. These blow outs always surprise me on how the colors combine. I was sure that magenta and green were going to just make mud and they combined beautifully
I’m not a fan of this one and I realize you’re experimenting but let me say it’s the ONLY one you have ever done that I’m not in love with. Each to our own is my motto, There is a love of art for each and every one of us. You are amazing at what you do and I’m still hoping to take your class someday. Happy Holidays Molly!
The colors are absolutely beautiful and work so well together, but it's almost too busy. There's not really a place for your eyes to rest. I do look forward to you trying this one again. I love the concept
Wow, Molly! These colors are brilliant together! I think the depth of the green helped the other colors pop. I really enjoy watching you experiment and try new designs.😊 Thanks for sharing with us. 💜
It's funny, when I watch you working on these projects I think "I don't like those colors together " or, "oh, don't do that" or she wrecked it", but in the end I love everything about the final results😂
I love and truly appreciate your willingness to share your process and thoughts while working on a concept. It's been invaluable to me. Many thanks for your transparency and generosity of spirit!
I love how you did the outside first so the inside could layer over the outside. When I do something like this, if I have a solid color blob in the center I use a balloon and smash the center and it all blends in nicely. Beautiful molly!!
The outside edge was kind of like a super colorful wreath.. and those cells! I definitely agree that the concept is getting there.. and honestly, this is really pretty (you know I love purple!!). I can't wait to see where you go next with this!
I see different things in your paintings as you go along. I love the blowouts, period. They seem to have ever evolving growth with every single blow and directional change. First I saw a daisy, next a morning glory, then a carnation, and lastly a trumpeted orchid. I do not see a flower at all in the finished painting. The side you said you overworked looks like a flowing waterfall to me. I would hang this with the waterfall down. And I see the center spinning all of those beautiful colors pouring out toward the earth and the sky. I love it. Art is subjective and I see a 'perfect as it is' painting. You will never be able to duplicate this, it is a one of a kind, just like all of your works. Unique, and an extension of you... shared with all of us. Thank you Molly.
This is really cool and you are definitely onto something with this, I cannot wait to see where you go with it next! Have an amazing holiday season, have lots of fun, stay safe and I wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025! 🎉
Thanks so much, I hope you have a great holiday season too! You said last time you were finishing up prepping right? Hopefully you are close to done now!
I love it. We must be on the same wavelength - watching you do the blue vortex gave me inspiration to try it this with different greens, gold, black, sandy white, metallic pink, dark lilac. I put it on a round glass lazy Susan. Then you have done this! ❤ I love watching you experiment and explain everything. It’s so amazing. You are truly a joy Molly! Thank you so much for posting everything you do.
So amazing Molly! I was concerned about all those beautiful colors mudding up , but you proved me wrong ❤❤❤ this painting reminds me of a Van Gogh…💕 I am literally blown away here… this painting has me mesmerized…🥰
Okay, ya, loving this concept. Been on the same kind of kick. Like I know the concept can be done but the process of discovery is where it’s at though. Keep trying! Each one is better than the last. So yes! Progress!
I love the colors and the technique. I can’t wait to get out my new hair dryer and try it. Bought it especially for painting and have been waiting with great anticipation to try it. But I didn’t know how. Watching this video gives me a very basic idea of what to do. Thank you.
Thank you for showing how you bring your ideas to life and include the beginnings of the journey. It's really cool and super helpful to see how you work out the kinks. You're so brave ❤ A lot of people will only share their perfected pieces. Love the concept and can't wait to see where it goes! Side note, a balloon smash in the very center might be a way to bring it all together. You could even do a little twist as you lift the balloon to keep the swirl effect. In my mind it works, but who knows IRL? But that's the fun part 😊 Stay AWESOME ✨
OK, so my crazy little secret wish came true. I have been wanting to see you do something absolutely wild in the sense that I wouldn't be able to see where you were headed or why these colors. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤❤❤ I hope you go back at this one it's not finished yet, but, when it is it's going to be awesome!
I like it! Ya know what though Molly? I LOVED the first phase blow out all by itself, with the large bright circular negative space in the center. It reminded me of a hippy-trippy kind of wreath! Gold and green is my thing! Happy Holidays y'all!!! 🎄
Molly, this time of year many like me get SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) when the night is long and the short day is cold and gray. So as James Taylor once said "You brighten up even the darkest night". You and those like you (i.e. Olga/J Mo/Mark R. etc) give me a break in the clouds...From Indy w/love to you and Mr. Molly-lol, Merry Christmas!🎄
Molly ce que tu viens d'essayer est vraiment magnifique j'adore les couleurs et les mouvements sont extraordinaires felicitation madame et je te souhaite un très joyeux temps des fêtes avec tes amis, santé et bonheur. 🌝👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have just started your video and automatically said OMG. This is going to be gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. OK just had to tell u that now I will watch.😊😊
Hey Molly! Well, I think you are definitely “getting there!” Loved the colors, but just not a fan of gold. I think a lighter green would have been nice, but really, the colors are very nice. I’m sure it’s easy for us armchair painters to critique your work, but if WE had to blow this out!!! It would look like a 4 yr old did it! 🤣🤣🤣 You are “da’ best!” 💕
Hey Molly!! I’m over here on the east coast, Wilbur by the sea! Loving all you do and your experiments and learning always from you! Happy Holidays😍❤️🥰🎁
Molly, I always love understanding your thought process and seeing you experiment, even when things don't fully work out the way any of us would intend. That's the fun of it! Two things came to mind for me when you were creating this piece. 1. Before you did the center blow out, I was wondering what would happen if you let that dry and then came back and did a center vortex. You had such great cells and a great outer band. 2. What I was hoping to see was depth created (kind of like a tornado) when you were starting on the center. I wonder if you limited the center colors and also used a lot less paint in the center, if it would give both the composition and design. Long comment, I know, and maybe none of this is actually getting to what you are trying to accomplish, just my reactions while you were working! Thanks so much for everything you teach us and show us!
This color combo is gorgeous! I'd love yo see a video in which you explain why you choose to layer the colors in the order that you do. I'm not great at color theory (I'm learning, though!) and it would be awesome to know what your reasoning is behind the color choices and layering order. Thanks for making and sharing such beautiful, inspiring artwork!
I loved when it gone blown out...oh my! I see the same with the right corner getting overworked. I think your puddle idea would definitely work. Me...I would cheat😅 I would do the outside part, let it dry, and then the inside circle!😆😁😘
I think we’re pretty much set for the holidays! I had already had the idea to do a painting for my mom and when I asked her what she wanted that’s what she had said. She had a miscarriage about a month ago and it has really devastated her. She has had more problems come with it too with her age and other factors, it’s a whole mess. But we’re having faith and hoping everything will be alright. My idea for her painting was to do an angel and do a Dutch pour for the wings. I’ve just finished it and wrapped it and it came out absolutely gorgeous and I sooo wish I could share it with you! Also, I loveee this painting you’ve done! I wouldn’t have thought to do these colors but it somehow gives me a Christmas vibe and depicts joy. In the beginning it almost looked like a Christmas wreath. I love it!!!🤍
I don’t know if you noticed this or not but when I look at this painting, I see a little boy and Energy form and the circle where was the center is his ear? I just think it’s absolutely gorgeous. This was so much fun!❤ I wanna see what you come up with your paints that I’ve been in hiding😂😂😂😂😂❤
Maybe a smaller blow dryer or just a straw? I loved the first blow out! That was stunning. I even love the blank white space in the middle. It looks lovely either way.
Love the colors ❤❤❤what do you think would happen if you let the first blowout dry..hmm I’m totally interested in this technique, I think I will do some experimenting 😀
Beautiful colors! I noticed you blew the outer circle left to right and the inner circle right to left. Maybe a solid complimentary color on the corners and outer edge would help the colors not to blend so much to get to the edges? Just a thought. Love your experiments!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think the area you claim to have overworked works very well. My issue is with the center...which looks muddy and pulls your eye there first. The rest looks beautiful.
Well the colors are fabulous. I was thinking maybe using darker shades of the same colors for the center. Or vice versa. Darker on first blowout and lighter for center. It is pretty.
This is a hard one. The first outside blowout you did looked really promising, but the second not so good and the centre is a mess. Do you think you used too much paint in too many colours because it’s verging on muddy. Keep experimenting Molly, you will get there ❤
Just an idea, maybe do the outer ring with different greens to be more of the greenery of a garden and no green in the center as most flowers do not have green. Loving to concept. ❤❤❤
Like the experiments! That is how we learn, right?! For me personally, i would leave out the green or the purple. I just don't like those 2 together, but that's personal preference not a comment on the outcome. Pretty darn good for an experiment:)!
Molly, I’m just starting out this type of art, and I think this is very pretty, my question is the size of your canvas v paint? How do you figure out the amount of paint to use? Please explain it to me. 😊
Hey Ms. Molly, when using a blow dryer should my paint be more fluid or less fluid? And how should I hold my blow dryer or aim it. Be cause when I do it it doesn't come out right. 😢😢😢
Molly, I agree you are definitely getting there! That said this truly beautiful, even if not what you wanted! Keep experimenting’
Molly, I can’t even begin to find the right words to describe to you how beautiful this vortex painting turned out! The colors are absolutely GORGEOUS❣️❣️
tyvm!
I loved the original blow out around the edge. If that had a plain green center, wow. Surprised at how well the colours went together. A few more tries and it could be amazing.
I like the first blow out too and the colors it formed
Me too I liked it way better than the ending
Looked like a portal without the center.
Just painting on Christmas. It's just my sister and her husband and my brothers family. Our Mom passed away this last July, so none of us are feeling very festive.
Payne's Grey works well with warm colors too. Beautiful ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find whatever makes you happy this season and do that. ❤️
I hope you have great memories of your Mom. Celebrate her. Prayers for you and your family. ❤
I must say Molly it is sure wild. I agree it needs work but for some reason I love it
Yes needs work for sure. But I feel like I'm on to something!
Wow! My brother would love this!! He is a hippie forever kind of guy 😊
Molly, I absolutly adore you! You sharing your trials and errors with us are so inspirational and I love and look forward to your videos! Happy Holliday to you, your husband and the cats! 🌲🎁❤

Yes def work in progress! It's the center that I need to perfect
@MOLLYSARTISTRY I can't wait to see it! ❤️
Wow, Molly! These colors are brilliant together! I think the depth of the green helped the other colors pop. I really enjoy watching you experiment and try new designs.😊 Thanks for sharing with us. 💜

Thank you so much! Means a lot. I hope your daughter does get to paint if she wants to!
Wow that is so beautiful, I was shouting a little at the screen telling you to stop as certain points lol. But it’s absolutely stunning, love it! ❤
The colors just work so well together. Love the little cells. Just beautiful 😊
What a lovely unexpected surprise! Love it!
It's funny, when I watch you working on these projects I think "I don't like those colors together " or, "oh, don't do that" or she wrecked it", but in the end I love everything about the final results😂

It is very busy but I love the color combination. It's always fun to experiment with you. Fun watching the progress. Thank you so much for sharing.

@MOLLYSARTISTRY thank you!🌻Yeah, not too far off, mainly just gift wrapping to finish and a few last minute bits. 😊
I love it.

thank you so much 😍
You make it look so easy! And your color choices are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
It takes lots of practice but it's really fun!
That is absolutely amazing. I absolutely love it. Ohhhh….❤❤❤
So amazing Molly! I was concerned about all those beautiful colors mudding up , but you proved me wrong ❤❤❤ this painting reminds me of a Van Gogh…💕 I am literally blown away here… this painting has me mesmerized…🥰
Thanks so much! I am always trying new things!
I love how it looked right after you got the petals blown out your first time around. Love the concept here.
The colors are absolutely stunning!
I love this! The bright contrasting colors are beautiful together! This experiment was a success for me.
Thanks for including us in your art! Love to see you work!!
With the white in the centre it looked a bit like a Christmas wreath. But the addition of the flower in the middle is lovely.
I had the same thought!
Okay, ya, loving this concept. Been on the same kind of kick. Like I know the concept can be done but the process of discovery is where it’s at though. Keep trying! Each one is better than the last. So yes! Progress!
I love it when you try something new. It challenges me to try something different too.

You’re welcome!
Hey Molly!! I’m over here on the east coast, Wilbur by the sea! Loving all you do and your experiments and learning always from you! Happy Holidays😍❤️🥰🎁
WOW explosion of beautiful colors 😍
Ooooh I LOVE that green/aqua/teal at the top! I hope you don’t lose it!!! Back tot he show now!! 😂

Thanks for the suggestion! I might do a video on layering!
Love all the colors ❤
Molly, I wanted to say stop! The flower center is so beautiful.
Molly it is kind of cool. Merry Christmas. Thanks for creating for us this year.
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you too!
The thumbnail reminded me of a peppermint/candy cane in the center which I thought was pretty suitable for the holiday season. Great stuff here!😃
I loved when it gone blown out...oh my! I see the same with the right corner getting overworked. I think your puddle idea would definitely work. Me...I would cheat😅 I would do the outside part, let it dry, and then the inside circle!😆😁😘
Boa noite Molly, sempre gosto de sua arte, mas esta suplantou todas, parabéns e obrigada por sua atenção
thank you so much maria!

thanks for sharing! please email me the picture info@mollys-artistry.com , i'd love to see it!
Its beautiful. I love the explosion of color. I wonder what it would look like without the outer ring or a solid color outer ring. Maybe.
Hey molly that's a real funky piece of artwork 😊😊
Love these colors. Doing a spiral blow out like this. Won't it work easier if you use your spinning wheel?
Wow! Out of this world!
Molly that's one different picture I have ever seen you do
Beautiful and gorgeous good job❤😊
I'm glad you like it!
Hi Molly, I really loved the outside blow-out with the negative space in the middle. I wonder what would happen if you blew the middle first?
I don’t know if you noticed this or not but when I look at this painting, I see a little boy and Energy form and the circle where was the center is his ear? I just think it’s absolutely gorgeous. This was so much fun!❤ I wanna see what you come up with your paints that I’ve been in hiding😂😂😂😂😂❤
Really love the purple was not pushed off this time.
I absolutely LOVE this!!❤
Hi Molly! Before the painting dried, the flower seemed to jump off of the canvas. I enjoyed watching you create this beautiful piece.
Love the color combo. I think I would like to see the vortex on the outside like you did but a flower dutch in the center on another experiment.
Maybe a smaller blow dryer or just a straw? I loved the first blow out! That was stunning. I even love the blank white space in the middle. It looks lovely either way.
I think it’s really pretty but I think center needed some completely different colors but still very pretty ❤
It’s beautiful! You almost completely covered the outside blow out. But I do love it.
Loving these colour's thank you P.C.
12:24 Okay, I wasn't sure at first but I would definitely buy this. It's a rare beauty. Gorgeous piece!
Thank you!
Love the colors ❤❤❤what do you think would happen if you let the first blowout dry..hmm I’m totally interested in this technique, I think I will do some experimenting 😀
Ty! Yes someone else mentioned that and I like that idea!
It's stunning, maybe keep the same sequence of colours when pouring the middle ❤
Love those colors and I think it’s a beauty ❤
I didn’t catch if you’re using paint and water or thin paint and PM
Thanks! This is paint and water!
Beautiful colors! I noticed you blew the outer circle left to right and the inner circle right to left. Maybe a solid complimentary color on the corners and outer edge would help the colors not to blend so much to get to the edges? Just a thought. Love your experiments!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yay Molly!!! You read where I said use your spinner!!! Can't wait to see if that works.
I think the area you claim to have overworked works very well. My issue is with the center...which looks muddy and pulls your eye there first. The rest looks beautiful.
Really cool concept and design. Would definitely suggest using a spinner, but this is beautiful for a 1st try!❤
I'm glad you liked it! I am definitely going to keep experimenting.
Very cool Work. May i ask what kind of color did you use?
They remind me of nebula. Space has some beautiful shapes and color.
Well the colors are fabulous. I was thinking maybe using darker shades of the same colors for the center. Or vice versa. Darker on first blowout and lighter for center. It is pretty.
Have you thought about swiping around the outside and do a blowout in the middle?
Molly, I’m just starting out this type of art, and I think this is very pretty,
my question is the size of your canvas v paint? How do you figure out the amount of paint to use? Please explain it to me. 😊
The colors are pretty together.
I see a dinosaur on my right!
I love the colors
Hey Ms. Molly, when using a blow dryer should my paint be more fluid or less fluid? And how should I hold my blow dryer or aim it. Be cause when I do it it doesn't come out right. 😢😢😢
I would love to see it with different colors between the first blowout and the second to really distinguish between the two.
Very beautiful ❤❤❤
Maybe add definition between petals and bit. Think line of gold added now that it's dry? Love the colors
I like it love all the colors .lways
