Majority of us were supporting Dbanj back then, but Don Jazzy made the right call, Afrobeat wasn’t ready for that quantum leap as at then, they would have been shot into oblivion if they made the move back then. What Don Jazzy has done with Mavin superstars like Rema & Ayra Star is a proof-point that he’s a strategist and a calculative person, or simply put, an ENIGMA.
