The changes to Luigi's voice in the song honestly make it more frightening, considering he's probably gonna die.
Listening to Luigi humming at the different points of health is the scariest part of the song. Just imagine if they kept that T rating....
this is truly what the average building in Boston sounds like
zoo wee mama
ZOO-WEE mama
ZOO WEE MAMA
ZOO WEE MAMA
I was humming along to this absent mindedly and actually jumped when all of a sudden Luigi was humming along with me
Luigi sounds scared to death
Its almost like he saw a ghost or something crazy like that
This is actually THE highest quality version of the song anywhere on TH-cam, so it doubles not only as a deconstruction but a very clean rip as well! The main theme is one of my favorite tracks in all of video games so I’m very pleased you made this :)
The luigi quartet is hilarious
the luigi choir
This game had such great sound design. I especially love that clanging kind of sound from the ghost channel.
Probably your most atmospheric deconstruction yet
Interesting, I never would've thought that the different hums for Luigi would be on separate tracks, but I guess it would make the most sense to do it that way
I'm also surprised at how... simple, for lack of a better word, the main mansion theme is
Similarly that the Exterior theme would only be one channel, it is only the harp playing
Guess you learn something new every day
when the cellos
This must be the Super Secret Layered Mansion Mode people were talking about. Jokes aside keep up the good work.
Thank you for the amazing work! I don't remember being able to find all versions of this music so clearly before
love this one a lot. portait ghosts and the gameboy horror are also slammers.
Funny enough I just picked up Luigi's Mansion 3 again the other day. Realized I hadn't beaten that and thought I'd rectify that.
On that spooky note, I'd like to make a song request. Wendy: Every Witch Way on GBC, Level 1; a hidden gem from the fine folks at Wayforward. Always liked the Level 1 and Bonus Level tunes, the rest are more spooky and eerie.
This is awesome! Deconstructing MIDI tracks shows so much passion the composers put into making these! ^^
I want to see you deconstruct Enemy Battle and Mini Boss Battle themes from Zelda Wind Waker CD soundtrack, especially adding the battle strike sounds and have that channel playing by itself!
I want to add the perfect rhythm battle strike sounds into the WWHD version of the tracks since they didn’t play in sync with the music but were instead slapped in out of sync!😭
Nice! I should have known this was sequenced but in my head it was always streamed!
Channel 1: Double basses (left)
Channel 2: Double basses (right)
Channel 3: Pipe organ (I would describe it as "soft", like the kind you'd hear in a chapel, not a cathedral).
Channel 4: Theremin
Channel 5: Luigi at high health (Charles Martinet)
Channel 6: Luigi at medium health
Channel 7: Luigi at low health
Channel 8: Luigi whistling (I wonder if it's sequenced/synthesized, or a recording of a real whistler, and if so, if it's Charles whistling.)
Channel 9: Weird ghost sounds (lower) with metal percussion
Channel 10: Harp
Channel 11: Weird ghost sounds (higher) with metal percussion
Channel 12: Theremin's echo
We need the final boss oscilloscope deconstruction
Holy sh*t those contra-bass sampels are truly something.
It’s also very unsettling to hear Luigi’s voice separate from the music, I didn’t expecting that!
I love this song!
Yesssss I LOVE This Song
Do you have the instruments banks you can send its really complicated to recreate those pitch bending samples to accuracy
Reason I'm asking because. I've ripped the music sequences and soundbanks from the 3DS port.
This deconstruction isn't from the 3DS Remake, it's recorded in Dolphin (the original GameCube game)
11:15 Gooigi is that you?
Amazing!!! Can you do Steam Gardens from Mario Odyssey?
Nice
Hearing all the channels together is quite interesting.
I've got a request for you if you can: I know you did F-Zero GP Legend a while back (thanks for Big Blue by the way), could you do Mist Flow? That's probably my favorite song, right next to Big Blue.
w
Can you do Bogmire or Melody Pianissima ?
I keep hearing this while walking down dark hallways. Is that good or bad?
Aight now do the catching ghosts theme
May I request the in-game theme for Hopping Mappy for arcade
Is there any more Wii stuff that's sequenced?
Yeah, the next video will be a Wii one.
I would like to hear Guardian Legend from NES get deconstructed. I like listening to each of these sound channels. Best game.
Do you have a Discord?
He has Discord, but he doesn't want to share his username to the public here on TH-cam, he'll have to add you instead
Its so cool that they made Luigi a part of the song. He completes it
Yep, he gets to have the melody! You can see in the beta version that it was all lo-fi drums and synths originally.
