Apple trees need a cold period (rest) what you not have in the most African countries.

Kate have you ever thought of keeping bees for cross pollination. This could help the trees in flowering and may be faster plus an extra income selling honey , for your visitors when they come visit. Call it Apple honey. Kate Honey, Wambugu Honey etc

I am from Canada and what a surprise. I never thought apple could grow in Africa in such a manner to produce such abundant of fruits. And what is so amazing is the high of the trees with amazing production. Truely amazing.

@@cherryant4008 it's a free market nobody gonna force u to buy what u can't afford tena kuna kitu we call quality na ni expensive but many go for quantity which is cheap and almost zero energy/value.

I have 3 acres in kamulu, with a lot of manure and it's black cotton soil. I had planted three seedlings that have never given me a single fruit. Kate, how about tropical rain forest like southern nigeria - near Owerri and Enugu? Would these apples survive in those hot, humid, rainy environment?

Really. I have my reservations after planting 5 such apple trees from Wambugu Farm in 2021 and it is now 2 years and no fruits yet. This girl is doing her father's biding. Sales and marketing.

Kate kindly asking how long do Peaches fruits, Grapes and Pomegranate fruit take from time of planting to fruiting, and for the manure what do we use is cow, chicken or goat waste okay, soil a acidity and alkaline levels, for the apples guess I have got enough info from you

Hi Kate, I live in South Coast Kenya. I have 3 acres of sandy soil which is very good for rice farming but I find it challenging due to birds. The land has unlimited supply of underground water( very shallow) but you know how the heat is here. Would you recommend apple farming for me ? Please advise.

The good thing is that the trees are not that big atleast you can plant some other crops I love it I tried to grow some seeds direct from a fruit but only 2 grew
