Shirley monologue from MARTIN MCDONAGH'S 'Hangmen' | Self tape

Synopsis:
In his small pub in Oldham (Manchester), Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what's the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they've abolished hanging? Among the cub reporters and sycophantic pub regulars dying to hear Harry's reaction to the news, a peculiar stranger lurks, with a very different motive for his visit.
I play Harry's daughter 'Shirley' who has returned from her day out and is explaining to her parent's where she's been and who she's been with.
