I spend a bit too much time wondering how Lottie will react to on-track events. Sainz goes out early and then LeClerc goes up in smoke. I immediately think how upset she will be. Then I watch the reaction here and the look on her face says it all. Such disappointment. Breaks my heart. We still have a long season and anything can happen. IMO, the schedule with so many back and forth races, location wise, will be a real problem in the future. Another great vid young lady…🥰

Hi Lottie this is my take on the Baku race. After last week’s shanigans in Monaco when Checo won the race Max had a point to prove. Two incidents occurred during the race which made me think Red Bull still think Max is their No.1 driver. Max seems to have near perfect pit stops when changing tyres yet when Checo came in it seemed to take a second or so longer. And when Leclerc’s engine went and both were fighting at the front the command “No fighting’ came over the radio when Max passed Perez. I wonder if Max was being overtaken would he have challenged Checo for the lead again? Shades of Webber and Vettel in particular ignoring team orders at Red Bull spring to mind and we know the consequences of what happened next. When Checo was leading the race he could get no further ahead of LeClerc than 2 to 3 seconds. When Max went ahead on fresh tyres he pulled way ahead, making a statement to Checo when he gets ahead he tends to pull away by a considerable margin. With this win he has put to bed the puncture from last years race when he was leading and Checo subsequently took the chequered flag!

Ferrari seem to be making such a mess of this attempt at a Championship season, after such a promising start too… I’m struggling to think of a time when any team has screwed up so badly(Renault in 1982 springs to mind). So annoying when I’ve always been a Ferrari fan and would love to see them win it again… Ugh!! My heart goes out to Leclerc and Sainz.
I’m thinking that the altitude(Thicker air below sea level, increasing the air pressure that little bit) combined with this track layout has maybe pushed these Ferrari power units over the edge? The only logical reason I can think of as to why they’d be so unreliable here.
Brilliant drive by Max, and total masterclass by Red Bull. How they’ve turned this season around!
Brilliant drive by Russell again, and Lewis(Breaking the pain barrier… Ouch!!). That Mercedes still looks horrible, even if it does at least finish the races.
Tsunoda’s rear wing issue was a comedy of errors… Really surprised the FIA allowed that car to complete the race!
Great video, and I love how you made it spontaneously on the go with your phone - makes it very natural and relatable(And Pot Noodle is my favourite too BTW! 😂)! Nice work! 🙌

The fact that you put so much thought into someone else's job is absolutely astounding.
Let's be honest F1 fans aren't really fans are more of critics. Every single one of you sitting on your couch talks like you know the sport better than the athletes that actually participate in it.
This girl is the only genuine fan that formula one has she doesn't talk 💩 about the drivers or the sport constantly. In the perfect example is Michael Schumacher everybody respects Michael because he won multiple world championships. But then every single one of you run your mouth about Lewis Hamilton for doing the same exact thing.
You all seem to have a double standard, that you don't even understand.
And I hate to tell you something the more u-pic-a-part something you like, you don't really like it anymore. Just enjoy the sport and let the athletes be the drivers you just sit on the couch in front of the TV

I must be honest, when I was looking at the timestamps, I was a bit confused over 6:48, I don't remember Hamilton doing a 'boss' overtake and then when I saw which overtake, I still don't get the title, for me Sebs second move on Ocon was much more gutsy than Hamiltons, Esteban didn't fight it at all. Regarding Seb's first attempt on Ocon, he probably didnt know if he was fully passes Esteban and didn't want to cut in front of him in case he was still there. Anyway, feel for Ferrari a lot and Super Max is back. Plus, I'm still confused as to how Hamilton got driver of the day???? 🤔

Leclerc needs a change of scenery while he is still young and sane.
He can't waste his talent as a thoroughbred in such an environment, where he can achieve nothing but a colossal chronic nervous breakdown.
P.S .: Red Bull makes soft drinks and has had success building racing cars; it may be that Ferrari, which produces racing cars, may be successful by starting to produce soft drinks ...

I think that a talented driver like Leclerc, one of the few capable of challenging Verstappen, manifestly dissatisfied with his current team, already has a plurality of offers to choose from.
Then it is up to him to decide, on the basis of information that only he can dispose of.
What is certain is that at Ferrari he is in a dead end (from a sporting point of view, certainly not from an economic point of view ...).

Sounded as if Sainz’ Ferrari engine was blocked by valve/piston contact. Then the other ones, blowing up but all in sectors 1 and 2, never the 3rd’s long straight. Could be the small turbo, but I don’t think so.
Perez setup was murdered by the 48+ degrees Celsius track temperature, instead of the 30 of Quali... while Max’s RB had “granny setup” since he couldn’t handle Checo’s level and speed: on Quali and with out tow Max was 0.440s slower than Checo. So something changed on race, and I think it was the track temperature.
Good lucky win by Win... Checo is becoming the faster driver of the team... and Ferrari has pushed that engine too much to be on par with the Honda, and both being ironically less powerful than the useless Mercedes (chassis slow)

Last season never was a good reference to compare the skills of the RB drivers, Max had accumulated too many high rake car tricks and you can bet he was not sharing anything with Checo (or Albon, or Gasly). Payback time I guess.

I was twittering and F1 Elvis replied to me saying it is being talked about more and more esp this week... will we see drivers taking the FIA to court due to brain damage from the vibration (due to porpoise ) to the head and esp the brain inside the skull (being like shaken baby syndrome) - just like NFL/rugby players and boxers?

Ferrari going boom or messing up strategy is a long standing tradition.
Mercedes have made the choice NOT to raise their car because they’ll lose performance, well too bad.
I’m tired of this whining, either raise the car or deal with it.
Mercedes and Lewis are looking for a sympathy vote because they want to bring back Active Suspension so their extreme sidepod problem prone car will benefit the most from the change.
They will not get the support from the 8 teams needed for the change.
Red Bull, Alpha Tauri, Alpine and Aston Martin have already said NO.
