Oh Shabby, they have a very clear and unique purpose. One that you haven't even realized. Both the smoke and frag grenades are absolute garbage to become filler rework material for an update train some time in the future. Just out of no where, as they're releasing things about new biomes or delaying them at least, we'll get an update about how grenades got some lovin' and are now a bit more viable. It's the strategy of add s*it into the system now to call removing it an "update".
I haven't seen any icarus you tuber made a game at the outpost. Be the first. It could be fun . Like a shooter game with only bows with obstacle courses idk.

Friendly fire is always on. So you can play PVP if you set some rules. Also you can make minigames at the outpost and play with friends

You can go fishing with the frag grenades. Not super efficient, but a lot of fun.

Yeah the grenades are kindof a joke rn. Me and my friends will spam them at the end of a prospect for fun pvp fooling around.
