I’m excited for your & Josh’s new chapter in your new home! 😀🥰 I know you’ll miss your old home but the positive is the new one will be the first home you move into together! 😀 Meaning neither of you already lived there previously 😀 Your last apartment was yours originally & then he joined you when you got married where this place you’re starting out together! 😀🥰 And will make many great memories there together 😀 I like how you used clothes to pack dishes! You mentioned you don’t have a code on your door at your new place but I thought I saw one as you were bringing in the wagon lol. I prefer the ones with codes as well because then no one has to worry about messing with a key or losing a key lol. I’m excited to for you & Josh! 😀
I love seeing you two working together to make your new home. I also remember the crazy travel day or almost travel day that Sydney had a couple of years ago and how you ended up not going anywhere. Something you should realize about the fob access and codes access. Management companies that you utilize these access to apartments can also track when you come and go. They then know when you’re not at home, etc. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anybody knowing my business and when I am home or not, so you’re better off going old school with the key access. Good luck with your move and don’t put off having kids too long because you’ll never have them.😊

Congratulations on the move!! Moving is never any fun at least you have a whole extra room!! Maybe you can find a cabinet for your new bathroom because we need ALL of our skincare and makeup!! The new kitchen looks so pretty!! It’s amazing how much stuff two people accumulates and you don’t realize it until you have to move😂 I hope God blesses you with so many wonderful memories in your new home!!
When I move, I put what room a box goes to on the box and stack them all in the dining room in stacks by room. Then I put a TV Tray in each room and a folding table in the DR. Then I can have a guy put the boxes I want to unpack that day on the table in the morning or anywhere I don't have to bend to pick them up so I can carry to the room and put on the tv tray to unbox. Really saves my back. Unpacking goes pretty fast then. lol I figure DR is best cuz I don't really NEED that room right off and it's easier to get the kitchen stuff to the kitchen. lol If it's a multi-level house though do make a staging room on each floor and get the boxes for that floor there on move-in day so you don't have to carry any up any stairs. It's def. easier to get the furniture placed before any boxes go in a room, then you can just unpack the boxes into the drawers and all that. Easy.

Just saw your video. I'm glad you're done. I hate moving! It's a relief to be done with the big stuff but relax with organizing, take it easy, and be flexible ☺️
I did cringe when you were tossing "expired" canned goods. If you're storing them in cabinet or pantry at room temp they're good long after the date on the can so long as it's not damaged, bulging or rusting, it's probably good even 2 years past the date. I found a can of tomatoes 4years past date and it had just been in the back of the pantry at room temperature. No bulging or damage. Opened them and they were fine in my chili. Please check this out with legit government or dietary websites.
Canned goods don't really expire. If the can is undented and not bowing, it's still good. Keep them. In 10 years the flavor may lessen a bit, but otherwise, they are just fine. The Exp dates really are just marketing so you buy new ones. Happy Moving! I hate moving with a passion. lol

By the way that can goods is still good as long as the top is not bulging. I’ve eaten stuff a couple of years out of date. I can still smell it in my shower but it’s better. We even did a whole system flush (house). It’s sulfur and it’s really hard to eradicate. Some people can’t smell it at all lol

I was young once, and never thought I could afford a child. The special thing about children is you budget flexes around the family. I wouldn’t have my three kids if I planned them around money. The three of my children have blessed my life beyond measure.

Just an observation: most times I see American kitchens whether it’s in your home,Kacey, or in other series on TV, they seem to be very dark colours including marble bench tops which look old from day 1.Here in Australia, and I speak from experience having been in New home Sales for many years, our kitchens are much lighter and in various finishes. Timber look went out many years ago, we use light colours in cupboards and bench tops. A lot of light coloured engineered stone tops as well as laminates. Mine for example has White bottom cupboards with light grey top cupboards with a mid grey stone look benchtop.Dark or mottled finish marble bench tops are hardly ever seen.Question is WHY do you guys prefer dark colours? To me and many others here, they make kitchens look Small and uninviting.As I said, it’s just an observation.
For the same reason why there are different coloured cars on the road. Everyone has their own preference as to colour and style.
