I worked at a place called G&K we went around restaurants and country clubs cleaning the hoods climbing in huge ducts with scrappers. The chemical we called Blue for its blue color it is an acid base chemical thats why you wear gloves only Vinegar will stop the acid from eating at your skin. We also used Ethanol and another yellow powder chemical. Nasty job hard work hanging 2-3 stories in the air. Do not forget being on a roof at 100 degree day being put into a duct thats 120 degrees touch the sides to get cooked so many memories I respect these people for what they do.
