      Yes, we have a lot of restaurant owners that buy our Chemical. The best way to use it if you’re a restaurant is to put about a gallon of the grease eater into a 40 gallon garbage can designated for Filter soaking and just let them soak overnight, once a week when you clean them and the grease will fall off by itself by the next day. That garbage can solution should last you all month long. You can order some at www.mfstradeschool.com under exhaust Hood Cleaning chemicals or I can share with you a link below. It’s concentrated so you can use it for anything grease related in the kitchen..

      Superheated steam, no chemicals.

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, you can’t use steam to clean a kitchen exhaust system because it would take three times longer to clean it. When using steam only clean two or 3 inches at a time. You cannot clean the entire duck system using steam. You need a pressure washer and of course How and the Chemical.

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @meta5291 unfortunately you cannot use steam to clean a kitchen exhausted system. You would only clean 3 inches at a time and it will take you forever to clean an entire kitchen exhausted system. Steam is great for cleaning kitchen appliances, but not for the exhausted system. For that you need a hot water pressure washer at least 4 gallons of minute and 4000 psi along with a strong commercial chemical like grease eater.

      @MFSTradeSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Luke thank you for your comments and I understand 100% what you are saying. I’m tough neglected hot systems yes it’s gonna be a little tougher and sometimes you may need to spray chemical twice or crank up the heat and your hot water heater. But the chemical is the bomb I’ve been using it for over 20 years and we have hundreds of hood cleaners that are using it and buying it by the 55 gallon drum loads. You could always make it stronger or you can use the Grease Eater Ninja which is twice as strong. you’ve never worked in a restaurant kitchen in your life and it shows. Those filters were not nearly as bad as a busy day over a char broil. Industrial degreaser no matter how safe, can leave some serious chemical burns. Dish soap you’re gonna be spraying for a longer amount of time because all the suds and the slippery film that it leaves. Don’t bet on your ideas working better if you don’t even know what you’re talking about.

  • @rwplm

    I will say, this stuff works way better if you use a foamer. I've been hood cleaning since 2019, and we found that foaming it helps it stick on better and longer while still eating the grease.
    I did learn however, that it can still eat at your skin if you leave it on too long. I had some on my arm for some time before I realized it, then when I went to wipe it off, it took two layers of skin with it. It was only an area about the size of a 50¢ piece on my elbow, but give it enough time it can eat through skin. But like I said, I didn't realize it was there and it was there for I'm guessing several minutes.
    Anyways, this stuff is great. Doesn't always come off the first swipe with super thick grease, but it eats it off really good layer by layer.👍

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it is true that the Chinese restaurants have the toughest grease. My recommendation is to soak them in a solution of Greece Eater until you were ready to clean them in three hours. But you can also just spray them with our chemical and hit them with a turbo tip nozzle and a hot water pressure washer in it should come off in five minutes. Let’s put it this way, I have not met a filter that our chemical could not clean.

      You double the concentration of the Grease Eater, 4 cups per gallon of water, let it sit for 10 minutes for tough grease, and use a turbo nozzle and crank up the heat on your pressure washer to about 200 - 230 degrees. that should do the trick.

      If the filters are aluminum the Turbo nozzle can bend or break them especially if you have over 4 gallons per minute and over 4000 PSI. But you should be OK with stainless steel or galvanized filters. You can also use your yellow tip instead of a turbo nozzle or a steam tip if your machine does wet steam.

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course you should use a respirator with any degreasing chemical. It’s made from potassium hydroxide. But we teach to work with the fan on so that way all the vapors get drawn out. You can use clamps as weights in the back of the plastic to hold it down so the fan doesn’t suck it up.

    How much money is in this if a person is licensed and certified.

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no licensing required just certification from a trade school that is approved by the jurisdiction that you will be working in. An average cleaning right now is about $600 and it’s done by two people working for about four hours a night. So two jobs per night can be accomplished by one crew of two people. You have to figure out the rest of how much money you can make because it depends how aggressive you are and how you will grow your business.
      I can tell you this…companies like HOODZ and Triple B that make over 1 million a year with multiple crews.

      You will clean faster with 4000 PSI PW, it can be done without one, but it will take longer. It depends on how stubborn the grease is. For a perfect job, to clean the fastest, you need 3 things: Hot water, pressure, & good chemical. We sell the best around. The M-T-M machine is a powerful machine, it's 4000 psi, 3.8 gallons per minute with 250 degrees wet steam. 12 cycle battery, uses gas and diesel. You can use it on concrete or anywhere that there is grease or oil that you want to remove. However you have to remember that if the concrete has soaked up the oil or grease it can never be removed unless you paint over the concrete because concrete is very porous. If you have any questions please feel free to call me direct at our office at 407-732-4625

    What about the chemical being safe for the environment

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So that is a good question. It’s not an acid, It’s a strong soap and if you add 2 cups of vinegar to your waste water garbage can where it’s catching the grease of the hood, which is already PH7 you literally will have burger juice. But besides that they waste water from our garbage cans when we clean a hood system goes right into, the grease traps on the floor of the restaurant which has a big tank which gets pumped quarterly or two times a year as needed. That is then turned into Biodiesel and separated.
      If you’re cleaning filters outside, you can use and you should use absorbent snakes to catch the grease runoff, so nothing goes into the environment. if you have any questions feel free to give me a call at 407-509-1449.

    Will it work on a Viking vent hood?

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      It will work on any exhaust hood system that has grease. If however there is any aluminum on the metal than you do not want to leave it for more than five minutes because it will edge or discolor the aluminum, possibly even melting and if you’ve left it for hours. But if it’s stainless steel or galvanize steel, you can leave it literally four hours and nothing will happen. Accept a great amount off.

    Hi MFS - looks like a great product but pardon my ignorance, what in particular separates this from other caustic substances in regards safety?

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s a very good question

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      And the answer is that we are using a potassium sodium hydroxide with surfactants that actually slow down the process for the first minute giving you time to rinse it off if it goes on you without burning you. That’s of course when it’s diluted with water. When it’s concentrated a single drop will burn you. Most products in the market right now are made using sodium hydroxide which is very fast acting and instantly burns you even if it’s diluted with water. That’s why ours is different and better

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We are also coming up next week with Grease Eater booster chips that can make the formula much stronger by adding potassium hydroxide chips. That’s for stubborn Grease were you really wanna hit it hard.

    • @MFSTradeSchool
      @MFSTradeSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can put grease Eater on concrete to get rid of grease that is on top of the concrete. But do not expect it to go inside the concrete and remove the stain. Once the oil is inside the porous concrete, nothing will get it out except painting over it. Do not use it on the concrete walls of homes where there is paint, because it will strip the paint

      If God existed all along before Noah, Moses and Isaiah and they only worshipped the unseen monotheistic God and accepted that fact without a question. And a couple of centuries after Jesus death someone made him son of a God. Even though he never explicitly said in Bible that he is the ultimate God of the world's and unseen realm. 🤔
