As a 3D rviz artist as well, I see how AI tools are useful, but I also see how AI image generators can create a gorgeous image in seconds with virtually no effort. Anyone else afraid AI image generators will make us 3D artists obsolete in the near future?
One thing that will always keep artists relevant is we preserve the details/intent/structure of an image for our client. As awesome as AI is, it still likes to be too creative and it's difficult to pintpoint/revise specific areas of an image.
@@andychristoforou I agree with you, for now lol. Photoshop already does generative AI where you circle something and it changes it, like shown in the video. I'd say for people like me who do mostly photorealistic interior/exterior renders and short animations, AI will replace me completely in 3+ years at the most. You can already sketch out something and have the AI follow the sketch and make something really good. Graphic artists jobs are already being replaced at an alarming rate by AI.
@@ianwatson5767Ha, yes - no denying the exponential improvements in the upcoming years. We'll see, but generally Photoshop can be hit or miss, it's fine for small isolated areas but try swapping out a whole floor material with a specific spec you have from a client, that's where it will start falling short. Until we have full control over the output, we should be safe, especially with interior designers who are so particular and need that EXACT thing, they don't want a generic AI texture. One thing I heard a bit ago that put my fears to ease, clients don't want to do the work, so even if AI simplifies 100% of our jobs, clients still want a person to talk to and delegate to, sure there will be the savvy ones who want to save $$$ but some people hit a point where their time is better spent elsewhere.
@@ianwatson5767well, somebody has to push the buttons, why cant that be you? There will always be competition out there and if you do a better job using the tools why would you be replaced?
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate the incredible content you create. Your latest video was exactly what I needed, and I genuinely believe you are the best thing that has happened to TH-cam! Your creativity, passion, and energy shine through in every video, and it's such a joy to follow your journey. Keep doing what you do best-you're truly an inspiration, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
We've been developing an architectural AI app for awhile. Many I talk to don't want to try these apps and want someone else to do it for them. The real pain point is getting paid for all the R&D we're done to get the good results vs. the low/no cost mentality that it takes 1 click to solve the problem.
Appreciate all the info in this video. Any idea of when we can expect to get the android version for the app? Would love to join get access to the course.
image generation, image unscaling, generation of simple animations and camera flybys. maybe i don't understand something, but where exactly is 3d graphics here? design? yes. motion design? yes. 3d graphics? no.
With AI our profession loses all its poetry and its interest, it becomes of no consequence at all. Having more efficient tools to produce more easily and faster will not mean working less, it will simply mean producing even more, more frenetically and more useless stuff.
It willl loose its rarity and therefore its value... So i stopped pursuing it as a career and shifting to IT , because at the very end of the day Salary matters. because GPU/ PCs are expensive... 3D is expensive

The girl is also generated by AI ?
These AI generators change the Identity of characters, textures, material types, etc. So is not perfect
