The connection between Flamme & Himmel in regard to how they are remembered, and the inability to project how things will be 1000 years in the future are central to understanding the liberation festival section of Frieren Episode 7.

Fun fact, Himmel means sky, or heaven, so Frieren is traveling to Heaven to speak with Heaven.
That's so meta

I really love these shorts that you’re doing. I think it’s one of the things most missing in this corner of TH-cam.
the anime is really different. when u read the synopsis it comes across as nothing special. but it's truly a gem.
the fact that himmel made his structures for freiren to be not left alone when his gone. . but freiren at dat moment thought it was just nothing
Your ranking list reminded me to watch kekkai sensen and I'm absolutely loving it.
Himmel is so considerate for Frieren’s circumstances as an elf with a near infinite lifespan
She loved her bro 😭😭
Nitpick: The singular form of "millennia" is "millennium". Like the park, or the problems, or the puzzle.
Brain fart on my part - ty for the catch.
Feels like I found myself in the best side of shorts
This anime is unique and beautiful ❤
This show is definitely a comfort show for me. I love how it portrays time as I have always been interested with the concept of time. Definitely obsessed.
This has quickly become one of my favourite animes of all time it’s strikes in my opinion the perfect balance between slice of life and fantasy not compromising on either aspect the magical system is rather interesting, strikes a balance of escapism and relatability and overall quite calming (as of now at least)
As you progress through the manga you explore darker themes somewhat growing along with the audience, (I suspect something the editor of the manga push for and exploration into) but never losing touch with the original storyline and unlike many fantasy isekai titles subtly and tastefully mixes in romantic themes at times.
All in all an amazing story and so far I think the anime does this amazing story justice not only being faithful to the source material but helping to convey themes that I believe the Manga couldn’t completely convey with stills overall adding a dynamic touch to some of the almost montage like shots which always somehow matches the pacing of the story.
That my two cents and grains of salt
Idk why I felt the need to write this lmao
But we know of people and their stories 1000 or 10,000 years ago. We know certain emperors or tribe leaders and their stories. I forgot his name ironically but there’s one of the statue that was made in the Bronze Era and some new fact came to light
true, people in my country are still celebrating heroes that existed 2000-4000 years ago knowing the heroes were real people back then, not a myth.
Really well said.
Oh it has an anime
Hearing nishimura and tatum in scenes together makes me sad for some reason...
what is the lifespan of an elf?
Frieren needs Personal Android w/ Quality Backup Drives!!
Where's ep6?
