Jeff did a series of videos during the pandemic when he couldn't go out and perform showing him in his workshop developing the puppets, including demonstrations of the various stages of assembly and explanations of how he makes them move. Very talented guy
This bit is kind of a throwback to a bit he did REALLY early in his career. The one I remember seeing (I can't remember if he was on Carson or Letterman, but it was one of them, just to let you know how LONG he's been at this). He had Peanut out, brought out Jose, put Jose back in the box introduced another out-of-sight character(Jose had a bottle of wine in the box and the wine had a worm in it, think tequila, that wanted in on the conversation) and THEN brought out Peanut's "dummy" (same basic trope of throwing shade at himself), and Jeff was doing EVERYBODY AT THE SAME TIME. There was a side gag where he had them all going, paused for the audience's UPROARILESS laughter. When that subsided, Peanut says to the audience "You laugh NOW, but one day his tongue is gonna get a hernia!"
Jose is actually "Jose jalapeño, on a stick". It's part of his character name. & Jeff actually makes all of his puppets himself. There are a few videos showing his process. They're great! 😂❤
I think he was showing that we all fight those negative voices in our head that try to tear us down; but he made it funny with his beyond incredible mind blowing talent, and that we need not listen to those negative thoughts, i smile brightly 🌞
Great reaction as always. Jeff really is talented. He’s a one man show; he’s a comedian, a ventriloquist (can do 5 different voices at once), makes his own puppets and some stage sets, writes his own skits, probably produces a lot. In college he built his own helicopter and is a pilot. Is there anything he can’t do?
I think Jeff is up to at least 8 different characters now. Probably more. As others have said, he makes his own dummies. He is also a licensed helicopter pilot and in his spare times builds kit helicopters and sells them.
Yess!!! I been waiting for you to react to Jeff, peanut and Jose bit.. now that you asked about Jose, I can be garunteed you will gonna see it. Looking forward to that!
There is an older. and longer, act of Jeffs, where he does ALL of this you see in this skit, PLUS a tequila worm and a small army of cockroaches... AND he voices Peanut while drinking tequila... Little Jeff also has done solo with Little Jeff.. Jeff even gets into a fight with Little Jeff and ends up chasing him across the stage... He was selling Little Jeff Dolls, with a video teaching wannabe ventriloquists how to do it like a pro...
I first saw Peanut and Jose Jalapeno at an outdoor booth at Universal Studios Theme Park, Orlando, Florida in the early 1990's. A traditional puppet show with Jeff not seen and only the puppets shown.
Jeff actually sells the mini-jeffs along with DVDs on learning ventriloquism. He actually does a bit with one to introduce it...but of course, he makes a different voice since, as he puts it, he can't do the same voice Peanut does. 😮
This guy is so talented! I love Achmed❣️ Have you seen Darci lynn? Amazing child. You must watch her from first AGT appearance and follow her progression.
Jose is a Jalapeno (on a stick). He always jokes about a stick. He usually interacts with Peanut. Some videos featuring him include "José Jalapeño's bad day", "José Jalapeño's ski trip", "José Jalapeño is Ruben, the 'trusty' sidekick", and "Some of the Best of José Jalapeño... on a Steek!" (some of these might feature the same material). There's a VERY early version of Jose (along with little ugly Jeff) in the video "Jeff Dunham 1991" which is on the 'Mark Errington' YT channel.
One little thing I picked up watching this clip is that Peanut looks at whoever is talking. I don't know if that's a focusing thing Jeff does, or just to help people track who's talking. Also, Jeff has some kind of remote that operates Little Jeff's mouth.
Listening on my smartphone without headphones, it sounds like the voice of José comes from inside a confined space, the box. I have no idea how Jeff does it, but I've seen it done by other ventriloquists too, so there is probably an applied technique to it that ventriloquists know.
he always likes to pull Peanut and Jose together and have them act off each other. but one of his skits that i love has him suddenly make Peanut speaking Spanish, and they have a full conversation with each other. ending in the punchline of Jeff saying "i don't know how to speak Spanish"
3:33 The voice you are hearing in the box is Jose Jalapeno on a stick. He's basically a jalapeno with a face and a sombrero on top of a stick. That's why Jose is constantly talking about his stick. It's part of his gimmick.
#brittreacts Jeff makes his own puppets. Oh, and if you aren't aware. Achmed's eyes? They are the actual eyes from the Alien in the Mars Attacks! (1996) movie. They were selling the props and Jeff wanted the eyes for Achmed so he got them.
Britt Funny that you stated that Jeff should have won some award. There is an annual convention called ConVENTion showcasing all ventriloquists with their puppets. Jeff multiple times as Grand Champion so many because no one won't compete against him. Convention retired Jeff as Grand Champion.
back in the 90s he would do a variation on this one that included drinking wine and another voice from the worm in the wine. It's around on TH-cam, or it used to be anyway.
Ya Jeff makes all his own puppets with a 3D printer. He did a special show on TV once . I think it was called Meet Akmid JR . he talks about the design of it. It's pretty interesting.
Jeff does make all his own puppets. He even made the head for the Achmed mobile.

she's asked so many times who makes the puppets and many have answered its him. She doesn't seem to care to read the comments.
Correct, he made all his puppets, except for Peanut and the first version of Bubba J.

This skit proved to the world Jeff’s talent
Ever single time I watch Jeff I think His buddies are actually alive that's how good he is. All the different voices are outstanding and he's funny.
Britt: "i am hearing only on this side of my headset."
Beetlejuice: "learn to throw your voice, fool your friends, fun at parties!"
check out Jose Jalapeno's bad day ... He's a whole new character.
Yes!!!! I second this!!!! 😂😂😂
I think he was showing that we all fight those negative voices in our head that try to tear us down; but he made it funny with his beyond incredible mind blowing talent, and that we need not listen to those negative thoughts, i smile brightly 🌞
Jose is a Jalapeno .. On a stick .. And he is hilarious.
All the extra 'people' in his head helps the talent immensely😂😂
Imagine Jeff at a therapist.
Jeff makes his own puppets. He makes them with his own hands !!!. Very cool !!!

Britt.... you REALLY need to watch Jeff Dunham's "First" performance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I swear you will NOT regret it.
Peanut and Jose Jalapeño on a Stick have many interactions together
"Well, I don't speak Spanish. E-----...."
@@StandUpComedyFan28m 🤣
"José Jalapeño's bad day" | Arguing with Myself. one for you to watch.
Yes!!!! One of my favs!!!!
Jeff makes them too
I wasn't sure/but I could have sworn I heard he made them himself. Thank you confirming.
He didn’t make peanut. Most people don’t know that he made Walter to resemble himself when he got old
He has every step of him making Url, Walter's grandson, on his TH-cam channel! 😂
You know if someone gave a award to a ventriloquist they would make the award give the acceptance speech.
Love Peanut 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the reaction! I told you it would blow ur mind, lol 😊
I think Jeff is up to at least 8 different characters now. Probably more. As others have said, he makes his own dummies. He is also a licensed helicopter pilot and in his spare times builds kit helicopters and sells them.
Jose Jalapeno first debuted in his first ever special, Arguing With Myself. that's the special i discovered Jeff and i've been a fan ever since.
Jeff makes all of his dummies. He is so talented.
Legend!
Jeff is the goat at this line of work
Yess!!! I been waiting for you to react to Jeff, peanut and Jose bit.. now that you asked about Jose, I can be garunteed you will gonna see it. Looking forward to that!
Yay more jeff Dunham peanut videos.

Jose's bad day is great. It's peanut and Jose together
That is way beyond impressive.
Jeff is extremely talented
I first saw Peanut and Jose Jalapeno at an outdoor booth at Universal Studios Theme Park, Orlando, Florida in the early 1990's. A traditional puppet show with Jeff not seen and only the puppets shown.
The person responsible for all his puppets, is, Jeff himself!! He builds them in his garage!!
He can do his ventriloquism while drinking water, I have no idea how he does that!
Jeff has 5 regular characters he does...peanut, jose jalapeno on a stick, walter, achmed, amd bubba j. You should definitely check them all out!
Old Dunham Gag, New Twist🤪🤣
Jeff is truly a master of the craft, but you know that must have been a strange childhood 😂
Jeff actually sells the mini-jeffs along with DVDs on learning ventriloquism. He actually does a bit with one to introduce it...but of course, he makes a different voice since, as he puts it, he can't do the same voice Peanut does. 😮

"no no no Senor, it's a STEEK!"
Jeff does his own dolls. Walter is actually a version of Jeff with his face scrunched up.
He is amazing!!! 😂😂😂
Jeff is the Puppet Master. He designs and builds them as the newest alter ego emerges within his twisted mind.
You should also check his manager Sweet Daddy D.
I'm always impressed when I see his routines but let's be honest. He's been doing this since he was a kid. That's decades of work and improvement.
One little thing I picked up watching this clip is that Peanut looks at whoever is talking. I don't know if that's a focusing thing Jeff does, or just to help people track who's talking. Also, Jeff has some kind of remote that operates Little Jeff's mouth.
It just makes him seem more alive.
Jeff makes all the puppet's him self,, it is really detailed work. He made a show about he does it
Best ventriloguist comedian ever
Jeff Dunham make the dummies by himself.
José is a Jalapeño on a stick, hence "I laughed so hard I cracked my stick".
Listening on my smartphone without headphones, it sounds like the voice of José comes from inside a confined space, the box. I have no idea how Jeff does it, but I've seen it done by other ventriloquists too, so there is probably an applied technique to it that ventriloquists know.

What jeff is doing is natural for him, normally the voices are just in his head but the puupets give them a way out into the world, lol.
You gotta react to more Jeff Dunham 😂😂 I grew up watching him and he’s amazing
What makes the joke even funnier is that Jeff is basically insulting himself XD
You need to watch Jeff Dunham's first appearance on the "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson. A Legendary performance.
3:33 The voice you are hearing in the box is Jose Jalapeno on a stick. He's basically a jalapeno with a face and a sombrero on top of a stick. That's why Jose is constantly talking about his stick. It's part of his gimmick.

Jeff makes his own puppets.
Oh, and if you aren't aware.
Achmed's eyes?
They are the actual eyes from the Alien in the Mars Attacks! (1996) movie.
They were selling the props and Jeff wanted the eyes for Achmed so he got them.
Jeff has been doing this since the mid to late 80"s
Britt
Funny that you stated that Jeff should have won some award. There is an annual convention called ConVENTion showcasing all ventriloquists with their puppets. Jeff multiple times as Grand Champion so many because no one won't compete against him. Convention retired Jeff as Grand Champion.
Britt
Jeff has been working on his craft as ventriloquist since he was 8 years old. Jeff is an only child.
Jeff is a pro. No more needs to be said.
Jose is a jalapeño on a stick
"On a steeeck!"
Little Jeff and all the puppets have always been made by Jeff.😊
Since everyone is so obsessed with technique, if you go to his TH-cam channel he has a playlist where he teaches you how to do it!
Jeff actually makes all of his own puppets
She doesn't know he's the carpenter, Lol, and that he can build and fly private planes
You should definitely check out “Jeff Dunham’s Dummy has it’s own Dummy” it’s some of his early stuff
Watch the 90s ish bit where he does peanut, jose, worm in the bottle, the group in the cellar of the bottle and little jeff
Shout to Jeff who makes them. He has videos on it.
Jeff makes all of his puppets himself
back in the 90s he would do a variation on this one that included drinking wine and another voice from the worm in the wine. It's around on TH-cam, or it used to be anyway.

You should check out their Christmas special with Peanut reading The Night Before Christmas.
Girll you need to watch “Jose jalapeño’s bad day”! It’s with Jose and peanut 💗
Jeff makes all his own puppets
Jeff makes all his dummies except Peanut.
I believe Jeff actually won some accolades in regards to Guinness world records but I could be mistaken.
Jeff makes all his "dummies himself!!!!
Jeff makes his own puppets.
Jeff is the talent and the puppet maker/designer. Wet his stick is like peed his pants
This is worth slowing down and watching, because he's playing 4 characters at once, if you count himself.
5 - 2 times himself, 2 times Peanut and Jose, that is 5.
Meet Jose. Jeff introduces him in another video.
He done this before but with Peanut, a worm, and Jose and he was drinking water while Peanut was talking
Definitely recommend checking out Jose Jalapeño’s bad day.
