Jets are the most overhyped team in the league. 40 year old QB coming of an Achilles injury, lame duck OC in Hackett, and an unproven HC. The defense is pretty good, but so much of the offense is injury prone from Mike Williams to Tyron Smith. The Jets have been pouring resources into their O-Line for years and haven’t been able to fix it.
They went 7-10 with Zach Wilson. The defense alone makes the hype legit.

Yeah sure it’s all good as long as Aaron is playing, but if he can’t play for whatever reason, Hackett is calling the plays. It doesn’t matter if Tyrod Taylor is better than Zach Wilson, Hackett is calling the plays. So it concentrates even more risk for the Jets in Aaron being on the field.

Another dumb, lazy take by SAS, you're going to have to trust the OC. The OC will have to step in at key moments and the QB will have to respect his decisions. What SAS said was just wrong. A-Rod can make bad decisions, so the OC will have to step in and save A-Rod from himself. Will he allow it? I don't know or I don't think so.
Hackett should have been a QB Coach. It was Matt LaFleur scheme and coaching for the offensive system, and it worked in Green Bay. Hackett was nothing more than a placeholder in the OC it really shows when he went to the Broncos, and then didn’t even last a full season. It’s also questionable with last season. Zach Wilson was part of the problem However it didn’t help his case when they bench Wilson.

Aaron wants to be his own OC. He needs a puppet in that roll to allow him to call his own plays. As a life long packers fan I can say without a doubt that Rodgers worst years came when he had the most control. Rodger’s is a great QB but a bad play caller. Rodger’s has horrible tendencies to pass heavy. He abandons the run way too early when games are close. Lefleur resurrected Rodgers career by limiting his ability to audible. Lefleurs offense was better last year with love and was perfectly balanced than it was in Rodgers last year with Lefleur. Every year longer Rodgers was with Lefleur he had more ability to audible and every year he went more pass heavy till he about abandoned the run the year they traded Adam’s away. They had no receivers and elite RBs but Rodgers abandoned the run and went crazy throwing to nobody

Aron rogers didn't "bring in his oc" the jets hired hacket in January. Aron didn't come out his darkness retreat till the end of February before he even new he was playing or getting traded. Greenbay decided to maybe trade him while he was in his darkness retreat because of his indecisiveness. The jets hired hacket because there were no other good oc's available willing to go there. They got hacket for nothing cause Denver was still paying him. Either The jets messed up hiring hacket and aron joining them saved them or Aron knew he was going to ny asked for hacket in December, they hired hacket in January knowing aron was going there the end of February and they broke a million nfl tampering rule..... he is only STILLLLL THERE because of Aron. But Aron didn't make a deal with the jets to get hacket back in December, hire hacket in January hoping greenbay would agree to a deal for Aron the end of February. And that's why these shows are losing credibility all the lil add ons and misreporting

Thanks to TSN in Canada changing their programming i will now miss First Take my favorite program on cable T.V. how many SportsCenter or SC or what's his nuts channel at 7am, you just lost a viewer.
Hackett will be gone after this year along with Rogers. The football Gods finally smiled on the Jets and they finally drafted their franchise QB this year -- in the 5th round no less. But he can't play a single down this year. They need to keep him off the field the entire time.
And the head coach, while a great DC, he's a college level coach at best at this time. He needs to go there, mature, and then return years from now like Pete Caroll did. All three will be gone after this year. Ben Johnson will take over next year to bring in the franchise QB along.
