This beach vacation checklist includes a few of my must-pack items so that you don't forget anything, save money, and hopefully help you not to over-pack so that you don't bring unnecessary items to haul around with you.

Your personal item tote should always have a zipper. Things can drop out of that open top under the seat or in the taxi or you could be pickpocketed.
Great tips for an all inclusive resort trip! Planning on going back to Turks & Caicos & Could have used a few of these ideas the first time. 2 pair of sunglasses.😎👍

Wow! Those floaties look awesome, gettin some for sure!!! Sunscreen in a stick!!?? Cool!!! Didn't even know they had that. Another good tip to go with paying tips in local currency is to use local currency everywhere you go.. I found that to be the cheapest way to pay. The exchange you get everywhere is to their benefit and not yours, of course. So paying with pesos is way easier and easy on the brain converting too, lol. Great video, cheers!!!

I like to bring a few adjustable mattress straps to hold the beach towel in place just clip around the back of your lounger. No more towels blowing off down the beach.
They are better than sun-bed clips and they last years.
I put passport in baggie. Cheap and works.
Great intro yes I have had that feeling where I forgot something and that’s why I was looking for videos so I can be prepared and make sure I have the most important items. Passport and ID swimsuit to pair of underwear one dress 👗 minimum shorts 🩳 tank! And sombrero!! 👒 ohh shoes 👟 😊

In Canada you can order Mexican pesos and US from your bank a couple of weeks ahead, and request small bills.

Omg yea my husband looses a pair every trip and always the Ray-Ban or Oakley makes me so mad . Marshall’s is my go to so I can get hats sunglasses
I am going to use mexican pesos for what I have left but will also be bringing USD. I saw some pointers about new bills (my local bank has mentioned since the pandemic they have not really received new bills). I am worried the older smaller change will not be sufficient due to not being crisp and some with some ink markings or someone writing on them.What are your thoughts?

Hi 👋 thank you so much for the tips...We are going to cancun in April what are the covid restrictions? Going to mexico and coming back to florida..Florida.. Do we need proof of vaccination or just negative test? Thanks 😊
Hi! Masking is still required in public areas, but other than that you should be fine. No negative test or proof of vaccination required to enter Mexico. To go back home to Florida, you will need a negative viral test (rapid antigen) within one day of travel, so basically the day before departure.
👒 I take a rope or ribbon and my husband actually did it for me but he did talk to the job but holes on the side and then wrap it around underneath the chin I hate having to worry in a fly off

how much is a decent tip to give in Cancun ?
Hello i have a question for you i have much the same hat that i am bringing to Jamaica, how do i pack a hat?
I wore mine on the plane and then placed it under the seat. You can also pack it in your suitcase by placing it upside down and then filling it with soft items so it doesn't squish
* bring cash and don’t go to the atms (unless it is at a bank). A LOT of atms in Mexico have skimmers in touristy areas. (Learned this from my friend who lives there full time)

We’re going to Cancun in June. I’d like more info on tipping. Where did you get currency? In the US? How much do you recommend? What’s the %?

From my understanding they much prefer we just gove them the US dollar, and that its not a big deal
Most of the resorts at Punta Cana have gratuities included!
I only bring money to tip the bartenders.
Please read the rules of your airline/airport though because most airports in Europe do count sticks as a liquid!

they love the American dollar it's accepted everywhere
It’s really rude to tip in foreign currency. Those people work long hours six days a week. It’s a real hardship for them to spend their day off standing in the long lines at the bank to change the money. If you give them pesos, they can use it right away, anywhere. If you go off the resort, you’re see the long lines at the banks.
I would NOT be in a pool when there is a BEACH steps away.
The Pacific Ocean beaches are often way too rough with undertow and often full of jellyfish and alligators. No joke.
It’s nice to switch between the two depending on what you’re looking for that day. Some of those pools can be super nice 😎 especially when it’s a windy day
