Many thanks Simon, and your right I have left it as is, I can be guilty of over doing things, I think just a bit more and before you know it, its a mess, all the best Carl
Thanks Jeff, i found an old fish tank air pump, and this was the result, sometimes i think should i really but this on TH-cam , so its a relief when it goes down ok, all the best Carl
Many thanks Steve , I didn't know you could get such a LED to be honest, I am going to make some minor changes and that will be one, I also hope to put a better pipe in from boiler to tank , and it to the list of must do's, all the best Carl
Absolutely brilliant! I love it. Great concept and execution. I saw a similar whimsical layout in Melbourne in the early 90's. sorry I cant remember the name of the layout or the builder. I recall it had an 0-2-0 locomotive! All the buildings were warped and twisted. The owner said it was actually more difficult to build buildings without 90 angles than with. Fun stuff. I love the mushrooms on your new loco, very nice touch!! Cheers, Coxy
Thank you soooo much Coxy, this sort of modelling is not to everyones liking, I have built many layouts for folk over the years and I was definitely getting stale and losing a bit of love for our hobby, then one day I stumbled across a layout called Tippy Ashwood and I was hooked, also the punch books that Rowland Emett did all the cartoons for was a huge inspiration , unfortunately I had a heart attack a few months ago so won't be modelling for a while, I wish you all the best and thanks again , Carl
@@carlroberts2539 Hey Carl, keep up the good work. You have a very cool layout. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Always more modelling to do!! Cheers, Coxy
😂🤣Many thanks Brian, No rivet counters in this land 🙃 That awful squeak was believe it or not coming from the toad stools rubbing on the cylinders , it had me foxed for a few weeks as it sounded more metal on metal, all the very best to you, Carl
Absolute fun and pure whimsical creativity - keep us posted on how this develops. Rowland would be proud. The mushroom pistons are delightful.
Many thanks Mark, the mushrooms did make me smile
Love it, real character. Personally, i dont think it needs a roof. Love the pistons especially!!!

Brilliant bit of imagineering!

It's lovely, and the squeak only adds to it. I think you should leave the water clear, but maybe put a colour-changing LED under it. Super fuN 😁

Your imagination is insane Carl! keep on coming up with these ideas, your a genius and I love it☑
🚂👏
Thank you my friend 🥰
I was thinking that the water could be tea-colored, rather than red. This loco makes me unreasonably happy!
A tea making wagon what a fab idea, leave it with me, Unreasonably happy 😍👍i like that
Great vidio, like the engine as is. Sqeecks and maybe the sound of an old knocking diesel. Thanks for the morning coffee...
Absolutely love it. keep the squeak its brill
Matron - He's doing it again!! Brilliant.
O Andrew that made my smile, thank you my friend
Carl
You’ve done it again my friend, it’s brilliant love the squeaky engine, how about a red LED under the water tank? You’ve certainly cracked it 🤪
Brilliant Stephen, the red LED is a much better idea , i was thinking red food dye , imagine if it had derailed , all the best 👍
Mad, utterly mad. The white pipe… I can see that in copper, with a coil in it, and maybe a pressure bulge wrapped with a bandage.
love your idea re the pipe Tab, i will have a search and see what i can find, all the best
