I started using a carbon fibre cue last year after more than 40 years of using a wooden cue and I'm getting on fine with it. The vast majority of people I know here in the UK still prefer wood.
It's just what people get used to as a kid. I don't think they made carbon fibre snooker/english pool cues 20 years ago when these guys were learning. They might become more popular in the English game due to the rising popularity of Chinese 8-ball and those hybrid cues.
29:10 sensational clearance in the end but you have to 3 ball plant that ball near top mid. All day long. But what a finish he’s pulled out 👏🏻
Bravo Christophe
37:29 roll it in the middle and play the develop off the one over the bag? For a player of Cole’s level that is horrific
yep
17:02 sensational finish
Love to see it
I’m watching from California. I have noticed that carbon fiber shafts are not used. Is there a reason for that
Same reason they're not used by snooker players. Wood is still the best material, and no change in hundreds of years suggests it always will be.
