Man that scene hit me like a truck. TLOU2 wasn't a perfect game. It had a lot of issues. But fuck did I enjoy it a lot. And that scene just basically cemented my opinion on the game. I wish I could forget the game and experience it all over again for the first time

I just got interested when I saw the thumbnail and the title. I never expected that the comment section will blew me away. It hurts when the closest people to you don't accept that you can't be happy all the time. In their eyes you have everything and you're too young to feel sad. They say they are more hurt than you there are people that having it worse than you and they never acknowledge your true feelings. you have to be happy. you have to feel satisfied and be grateful for them and understandable for what they're going throw. when it comes to you it doesn't matter all . what you have to do is be successful and excellent at school . later when you have that perfect job your life is gonna be perfect your gonna be endless happy they tell you. you pretend to be happy you laugh you smile no matter what . you start wearing the mask in your own home. all the time and everywhere. till at some point you don't know what your true feelings are till that one time you realize that you feel what is expected from you to feel. you realize that your feeling became covered from your own self. you feel lost and down but you don't have time for that because you have to be successful you have to be perfect all the time. and they always criticise you on every little thing you do you are never good enough. when you do something Good they're never grateful your efforts are and will be always normal the lowst thing they except . you have nobody even yourself because you have lost it you ignore it for too long and now you are here. want to say bye to this life and at the same time want to change it make it better but then you remember that your future only depends on them they are controlling you and why should you try then if they can destroy it at anytime. But look how far we've come as humanity, and all of this progress and achievements because we worked together. If you need help, seek it. It isn't weak to trust, to love, to share or to care. It's strength, because you recognize that you can't do it alone. To have someone by your side is a great thing. But sometimes people don't have that someone, or so they think. You've always had someone at your side, and that person is you. You and yourself. The person who you talk to in your head, the one who helps you making decisions. The one who's always there for you. But you don't see it most of the times, you don't realise it. But you've always been there for yourself. And if you think that doesn't count, you're already denying yourself from you. Embrace your imperfections, embrace who you are. Because even though it seems you're the only one out there, you're not. Many of us yern for a friend we can trust and be completely comfortable with. And you will find that person if you seek them. If you're reading this, please know that I would really like to have someone like you by my side. Even if we part ways in the future, or even if we wouldn't like eachother, at least I would have met someone new. We're all different yet we're so similar. As of yesterday the love of my life was kicked out her parents house and we both sat on the curve together with our 2 cats hurting, I stay in NC and she stays in Cali, i had to get on a plane and go back to NC and i instantly regret doing that leaving the love of my life there all alone in a motel, I’m going back home to make money so I can get us a apartment and I want her to come live with me and my father until I can afford the apartment, I just love this girl so much, we been together for 7 years we watched each other grow up and I just can’t imagine living in a world without her in my life and I never want to imagine that, her family hates me, and I just feel like a plague, a parasite, and im on the plane rn depressed, deep in thoughts, I haven’t slept, I’m constantly worrying about her....and I just don’t know what’s going on......

I just had hope for too long. Every time i think things to be better, they become worst. I’m super grateful for this music. It helped me process the death of my son a year ago. Helps me feel like I’m not alone. Now, when I think about him, I go back to this music and I remember holding his little tiny body for the little time we had him. Thank you to these artists. Helped me heal a pretty big scar.
We are prisoners of ourselves. Some of us unknowingly lock ourselves away and paint our faces with smiles in hope that no one will notice the pain in our eyes. Barriers are built and destroyed over and over again. We tell ourselves over and over again that it won't happen again. We tell ourselves that they aren't like the rest. But every time, just like the rest who had broken us, we let the next pick at the neat little threads we'd used to sew ourselves back together. We let people tear open our hearts and bare our souls. As they stand there laughing in our faces, we just smile. We have to smile. If we allow ourselves to feel again... if we allow ourselves to acknowledge the fact that this may be the point of no return, we might just crumble. How far have we gone? How far have we been broken passed repair? How long and how far will we let them break us? On the outside we smile. We laugh with them so it doesn't hurt so much. We pretend and play along until we are alone. Once the doors close, the smile fades and all the seams that kept us together tear until our hearts are bleeding out. On the inside, as we smile every day, we hear the tiny gasps and whimpers of our souls begging for love and affection. So we tell ourselves, one more time. One more time I'll fall in love again. One more time I'll bare my heart and soul. Yet, we know that this "one more time" will turn into a thousand "one more times" because all we want is love. We starve for it. We starve for it as much as we need air. They starved us of it for so long that we become desperate for it. It's a hunger we can never seem to quench. The longer we starve, the more broken we become when another person comes and tears another seam into our hearts. Do you know what our greatest fear is? It isn't love, dear. You'd think that wouldn't you? Love should be our biggest fear. No, it's being alone... it's being rejected. We fall in love so easily and so frequently in hopes someone will some day do the same in return. But then when one person after another chips at those seams, we begin to realize that we can't imagine a life alone or full of rejection. We want affection, whether emotional or physical, we starve for it. We smile and pretend. We laugh with tears in our eyes in hopes no one will see the pain. It becomes hard to trust, but we find ourselves so willing to trust again naively because we can't help but once again search for that breath of fresh air. And just when we think we've finally found the fresh breath of air we'd been starved of most of our lives, we find out it's toxic and now we're dying once again.
We suffer alone, we die alone. Once you acknowledge and see this fact, you can't turn blind eye to it. No matter how much want to believe otherwise, life will find its way to inflict pain on you, scars that no ones see in your soul, buried deep down to hide away the pain and never let people exploit them. Yet we still want it, we can not let go of the desire but pain also won't let us go. We are forever stuck in this cycle and this is one of the most painful tragedies of life.

Had this in the background while talking to a friend, kinda forgot the music was still running, the convo got deep and we started talking about losing people, losing people in many ways either moving away, being left behind, or death. It brought me back some memories of my old friend who took their life away around 5 months ago. just started balling my eyes out because they meant so much to me, they were always there when I was going through hard times, they were so joyful and bouncy, little did I know they were depressed deep down and one day they told me they left, and I was confused, they left? Wdym they left, left where? A few calls later and nothing, I realized that they left left, they’ll always be remembered in my heart. Rest easy ❤️

Depression is really hard to understand but please don't be hard on that person. I know how it feels. I can promise you your friend would have preferred not to have done it! I'm really sorry for your lost... I never experienced something like this before, but in the past, I think I could have been one of the people like your friend... I also thought a lot about just giving up, because my life was one big mess right from the start, but there were always something, which held me back... the people I loved... I always thought, I couldn't do this to them... couldn't leave them with this hurt... In the end, I am happy, that I decided to carry on, and try and hope for the future, because in the end, it went better (not much better, but better)... But also until now, there is no-one, who really knows about this part of my story, because I just wanted anybody to be happy around me (because only that made me happy to)... Long story short meaning: Thank you for sharing this story! It really means a lot to me, to know, what could have happened, and how glad I am, that I had chosen the right choice. You can find every nationality in these comments...every single one of us...no matter wich country we are from have things in common since we all listen and love music like this. We all have feelings. It brings out the best in each of one of us! Music like this can be many different things to the person that is listening....that can be sadness...happiness...love...things we have done wrong in the past. Call me a pessimist, but I picture it like we are in different cells in one big prison. I know there are ppl like me out there, those who can understand you when you don't say a word. They say: It's never about standing tall all the time. It's about getting up when you are down. Again and again. Day after day. But finally in the end, we all have to go. So where's the point in all of this? When we could avoid so much suffering and pain...
It shows yourself how strong you are and when you reach the top, you will be so proud of yourself that you never gave up on yourself even with all this pain. You will say I suffered but in the end i got what i wanted. Without that suffering you maybe couldn't have done it.

I wish we had a group where we could share our stories, encouraging one another and even finding solutions to other problems. We all go through many things in life, but we have to be strong. 2 years ago, I lost my father. Cancer took him away. There is never a day I don't think of him and all the sacrifices he made to keep his family strong and together. Try as I might to fill that role, I have many times wondered if I can handle the weight. This music helps me clear my mind when facing these moments. When I listen to the music, I remember everything my father passed down to me. Never loose yourself in the chaos around you, your strong! Remember the trials you faced and overcame, the hardships you endured. You lived through that, nothing can drag you down now! That's one of the biggest things I have learned from my father, and I'll never forget that lesson. May your lives be filled with enrichment and in turn be a blessing for other!

I've actually experienced that. (My body wasn't actually dead; it was perfectly healthy. But I sure thought I was dead, as my soul was released from my body and entered the spiritual dimension.) It hurts when the closest people to you don't accept that you can't be happy all the time. In their eyes you have everything and you're too young to feel sad. They say they are more hurt than you there are people that having it worse than you and they never acknowledge your true feelings. you have to be happy. you have to feel satisfied and be grateful for them and understandable for what they're going throw. when it comes to you it doesn't matter all . what you have to do is be successful and excellent at school . later when you have that perfect job your life is gonna be perfect your gonna be endless happy they tell you. you pretend to be happy you laugh you smile no matter what . you start wearing the mask in your own home. all the time and everywhere. till at some point you don't know what your true feelings are till that one time you realize that you feel what is expected from you to feel. you realize that your feeling became covered from your own self. you feel lost and down but you don't have time for that because you have to be successful you have to be perfect all the time. and they always criticise you on every little thing you do you are never good enough. when you do something Good they're never grateful your efforts are and will be always normal the lowst thing they except . you have nobody even yourself because you have lost it you ignore it for too long and now you are here. want to say bye to this life and at the same time want to change it make it better but then you remember that your future only depends on them they are controlling you and why should you try then if they can destroy it at anytime.

To everyone in tough times right now, who have had tough times before and to those who might and will face tough times in the future.
Fear not. No matter how hard it gets, no matter how hard it hits, you get up. It doesn't matter if it takes time to do so, just make sure you get back up. Bruised, cut or even broken. You get back up and keep going, because if you don't then no one will. They need you, like you need them. We work better together, we achieve greater things together.
It doesn't matter if they laugh or kick you while you're down, it doesn't matter if they keep saying you won't get back up because you're going to get back up. Nothing is eternal.
Remember the hard days, and how far you've come. It doesn't matter if you've made mistakes, because even if we repeat those mistakes we will learn eventually.
If you truly think it's over, think again. Humans break, they at times are stupid, make bad decisions and don't learn easily. But look how far we've come as humanity, and all of this progress and achievements because we worked together. If you need help, seek it. It isn't weak to trust, to love, to share or to care. It's strength, because you recognize that you can't do it alone. To have someone by your side is a great thing. But sometimes people don't have that someone, or so they think. You've always had someone at your side, and that person is you. You and yourself. The person who you talk to in your head, the one who helps you making decisions. The one who's always there for you. But you don't see it most of the times, you don't realise it. But you've always been there for yourself. And if you think that doesn't count, you're already denying yourself from you. Embrace your imperfections, embrace who you are. Because even though it seems you're the only one out there, you're not. Many of us yern for a friend we can trust and be completely comfortable with. And you will find that person if you seek them.
If you're reading this, please know that I would really like to have someone like you by my side. Even if we part ways in the future, or even if we wouldn't like eachother, at least I would have met someone new.
We're all different yet we're so similar. Don't let go of yourself, seek the true you and embrace it, hold it until your hands give out. Because if you lose yourself, you'll be below the ground. And to get back to the surface will be a much tougher task. Give yourself a chance, congratulate yourself for the good things you've done because not many will do it for you. As of yesterday the love of my life was kicked out her parents house and we both sat on the curve together with our 2 cats hurting, I stay in NC and she stays in Cali, i had to get on a plane and go back to NC and i instantly regret doing that leaving the love of my life there all alone in a motel, I’m going back home to make money so I can get us a apartment and I want her to come live with me and my father until I can afford the apartment, I just love this girl so much, we been together for 7 years we watched each other grow up and I just can’t imagine living in a world without her in my life and I never want to imagine that, her family hates me, and I just feel like a plague, a parasite, and im on the plane rn depressed, deep in thoughts, I haven’t slept, I’m constantly worrying about her....and I just don’t know what’s going on......

I just had hope for too long. Every time i think things to be better, they become worst. Everytime i say a girl how much i love her, she tells me she doesn't because she has bad experiences or just because she doesn't love me more than a friend. My heart have been broken too much time by life, and this time i don't think it will be repaired one day. I feel like i'm empty inside and i doubt that something will fill that void one day. Well it relieves all my worries and stress. It helps me forget for a while and help me calm down.
i dont tell them i do, its something i keep to myself. its calm, quiet, and my own space and time. they dont need to have an opinion about my choice. i feel that they would either have one thing or another thing to say.. so i dont tell them at all. but i know what you mean. most of my liked songs are like this.
You need better friends if they criticize your every like and dislike.
I’m super grateful for this music. It helped me process the death of my son a year ago. Helps me feel like I’m not alone. Now, when I think about him, I go back to this music and I remember holding his little tiny body for the little time we had him.

We are prisoners of ourselves. Some of us unknowingly lock ourselves away and paint our faces with smiles in hope that no one will notice the pain in our eyes. Barriers are built and destroyed over and over again. We tell ourselves over and over again that it won't happen again. We tell ourselves that they aren't like the rest. But every time, just like the rest who had broken us, we let the next pick at the neat little threads we'd used to sew ourselves back together. We let people tear open our hearts and bare our souls. As they stand there laughing in our faces, we just smile. We have to smile. If we allow ourselves to feel again... if we allow ourselves to acknowledge the fact that this may be the point of no return, we might just crumble. How far have we gone? How far have we been broken passed repair? How long and how far will we let them break us? On the outside we smile. We laugh with them so it doesn't hurt so much. We pretend and play along until we are alone. Once the doors close, the smile fades and all the seams that kept us together tear until our hearts are bleeding out. On the inside, as we smile every day, we hear the tiny gasps and whimpers of our souls begging for love and affection.
So we tell ourselves, one more time. One more time I'll fall in love again. One more time I'll bare my heart and soul. Yet, we know that this "one more time" will turn into a thousand "one more times" because all we want is love. We starve for it. We starve for it as much as we need air. They starved us of it for so long that we become desperate for it. It's a hunger we can never seem to quench. The longer we starve, the more broken we become when another person comes and tears another seam into our hearts. Do you know what our greatest fear is? It isn't love, dear. You'd think that wouldn't you? Love should be our biggest fear. No, it's being alone... it's being rejected. We fall in love so easily and so frequently in hopes someone will some day do the same in return. But then when one person after another chips at those seams, we begin to realize that we can't imagine a life alone or full of rejection. We want affection, whether emotional or physical, we starve for it.
We smile and pretend. We laugh with tears in our eyes in hopes no one will see the pain. It becomes hard to trust, but we find ourselves so willing to trust again naively because we can't help but once again search for that breath of fresh air. And just when we think we've finally found the fresh breath of air we'd been starved of most of our lives, we find out it's toxic and now we're dying once again.
We suffer alone, we die alone. Once you acknowledge and see this fact, you can't turn blind eye to it. No matter how much want to believe otherwise, life will find its way to inflict pain on you, scars that no ones see in your soul, buried deep down to hide away the pain and never let people exploit them. Yet we still want it, we can not let go of the desire but pain also won't let us go. We are forever stuck in this cycle and this is one of the most painful tragedies of life.

Had this in the background while talking to a friend, kinda forgot the music was still running, the convo got deep and we started talking about losing people, losing people in many ways either moving away, being left behind, or death.
It brought me back some memories of my old friend who took their life away around 5 months ago. just started balling my eyes out because they meant so much to me, they were always there when I was going through hard times, they were so joyful and bouncy, little did I know they were depressed deep down and one day they told me they left, and I was confused, they left? Wdym they left, left where?
A few calls later and nothing, I realized that they left left, they’ll always be remembered in my heart.

I'm really sorry for your lost... I never experienced something like this before, but in the past, I think I could have been one of the people like your friend... I also thought a lot about just giving up, because my life was one big mess right from the start, but there were always something, which held me back... the people I loved... I always thought, I couldn't do this to them... couldn't leave them with this hurt... In the end, I am happy, that I decided to carry on, and try and hope for the future, because in the end, it went better (not much better, but better)... But also until now, there is no-one, who really knows about this part of my story, because I just wanted anybody to be happy around me (because only that made me happy to)...

You can find every nationality in these comments...every single one of us...no matter wich country we are from have things in common since we all listen and love music like this. We all have feelings. It brings out the best in each of one of us! Music like this can be many different things to the person that is listening....that can be sadness...happiness...love...things we have done wrong in the past. So many things...yet we can all have our opinions here in a comment section...this for me is evidence that we can all live together and that we all are the same. 2 years ago, I lost my father. Cancer took him away. There is never a day I don't think of him and all the sacrifices he made to keep his family strong and together. Try as I might to fill that role, I have many times wondered if I can handle the weight. This music helps me clear my mind when facing these moments. When I listen to the music, I remember everything my father passed down to me. Never loose yourself in the chaos around you, your strong! Remember the trials you faced and overcame, the hardships you endured. You lived through that, nothing can drag you down now! That's one of the biggest things I have learned from my father, and I'll never forget that lesson. May your lives be filled with enrichment and in turn be a blessing for other!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say... that this music has helped me through a lot. The only kind of music i can understand.... even though there are no words it’s like I can still here a gentle whisper having a conversation with me. Yes, it has a peaceful element of acceptance more than a hopeless depressive feeling for me. I have an anxiety disorder too.
I as well do. I have generalize anxiety disorder, I was diagnosed with that, severe depression, and was told I went through trauma and some other things.

I've actually experienced that. (My body wasn't actually dead; it was perfectly healthy. But I sure thought I was dead, as my soul was released from my body and entered the spiritual dimension.) And yes, it's definitely a big PART of the secret to life, as it changes ones perspective on everything to a large extent.
