@@WPR_SpeedKilz85 the glitch has way too much movement (probably) and I didn't exactly want to risk getting sick. Not to mention the amount of texture smearing out of bounds in this game. Other than that though, I race only in VR, I started using it in December and never went back
It may take months to do some minor detail changes for that to happen. There's a house in the middle of where K Trail used to be, and there's a natural wall before the pit entry where the K Trail leads back to the tarmac. Not to mention creating new pit lanes for the G and W Trails.
@SolaricAngel116 Well, if you look at Kyoto Driving Park and Autodromo Lake Maggiore in GT Sport before the additional layouts were added, you could see that at first there were no paths that lead to alternate routes. They were edited to include those paths in the appropriate updates. Same for Blue Moon Bay, which had no infield roads until they were added in an update. Perhaps they may accommodate the Plaza, the foot trail, the house on the hill and the natural wall to make space for the K Trail entrance and exit. If not, perhaps we could just have the G and W Trails instead, and a new Trail that combines both.
this glitch is so funny, it almost seems sad that modern games are able to have stuff like this fixed instantly across the whole world thanks to online updates. Guess we gotta enjoy it while we can
What I want to know is why there is a sonic boom audio file in the game? Even with the bugs Polyphony still wanted to make sure they were up to their usual high quality 🤔😂
Is this the first Gran Turismo to feature a bug/glitch? And i mean the obvious ones, that are easily found/activated. Not the out of bounds map etc. I believe this is the first GT game to have a game breaking Bug.
The very first game's Japanese releases had a funny physics glitch. What you had to do was to stand perpendicularly to a wall (aka touch the wall with the front bumper of the car), and then start accelerating. The car would start driving sideways, while lifting two of its wheels, reaching comically high speeds. The glitch was fixed for the international releases. GT2, GT3 and I think GT4 as well had the wheelie glitch, where you would set your car specifically so it would get lift on its front wheels. The cars would start to wheelie and also reach very high speeds. GT2 would also have the infamous garage bug, which was activated by filling up the leaderboard in Machine Tests, and then getting a result that would not warrant you a place on the board. What happens is that the records begin overflowing from their own memory bank into other memory banks in the game, and one of those is your garage. You would either get a bunch of No Name cars with garbled stats, or get your garage completely wiped. Coming back to the first game, the American release (IIRC) had a Car Wash glitch, where instead of the advertised 50 credit price, the game would take somewhere around 50 million credits. If you had very little money, this would put you into massive debt.
@WTFHAX93 GT4 has an overlooked bug where if you complete any driving mission before Mission 1, Mission 1 will no longer be beatable. It will be marked as complete, but it won't count on your completion percentage. GT5 has a serious bug where if your save file becomes too large in file size, it becomes unloadable. This was fixed in an update, but should you get the launch version, be careful with the museum feature. If you have the Spec 2.0 disc, it will be fixed. GT6 has the GARG glitch, which is similar to the GT2 garage glitch, but this time, it involves the Stockyard and the tuning sheets features. The more cars you have in the Stockyard, the more likely this glitch will occur. If you switch tuning sheets while tuning a car, the tuning sheet would show up with GARG as its name. When it happens, your garage will disappear the next time you start the game. This was said to be fixed, but it can still occur even if you have no cars in the Stockyard. Just don't switch tuning sheets and you should be fine. GT Sport has an issue where if you had custom liveries on your cars before online services shut down, the tires and windshield banners will not revert to default settings while your liveries revert to default colors. There's no way to fix this other than buying them again, unless it's a safety car, which can no longer be purchased.
The one-off Mercedes W08 F1 car in GTS was the progenitor for the gear ratio glitch that I believe still exists until now(?) except it was effective in holding down the speeds with its downforce. But the only good place to test this was in Le Mans as SSRX wasn't added around that time. It was a good enough concern for PD to patch it exclusively for that car, but it would make its way to certain models like the BRZ Drift Car.

Gt7 has very little bugs and glitches overall, and this glitch needs to be triggered, so you can easily avoid it if you want, fm is a lot worse if we talking bugs med glitches.
You are a lot braver than me, I have been too afraid to touch this in VR. Physics are actually pretty good when they aren't forced to break also.
This. New physics are really good and fast.
Why would you be afraid to do it in VR? ITt would be cool as hell.

It would be cool if PD would keep this bug as a Phyisics option in settings, like: Handling Physics: -Standard, -Funny
its like they're trying to go back to the ps1/ps2 physics except the car can tilt more than 45 degrees before suddenly not tilting anymore
This looks very close to GT1 physics lol

Wish they’ll have Elger Nordwand G, K and W for the next update for circuit experience, because we should have more Nordwand’s rally events for glory.

Gotta say this was funny to watch. I don't watch GT7 content but man this was worth it lol.
I wouldn't dare take any chances messing around with this kind of glitch out of fears of game crashes.
