Very unique tie Ruben! I bet that will float like a cork stopper. I really enjoy seeing variations. It doesn't fit with my idea of a humpy, but it's a wonderful looking fly nonetheless. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Ruben, do you tie this with foam for it to last longer? I know deer hair or eld hair ride high so I was thinking it was a longer lasting fly, or a longer lasting indicator. I watch all your video's with classical music over and over, because tying relaxes me as does classical music. Please sneak one in once in a while so I can add to my list of flies I can see you tie relaxingly. I do watch the others, when I am not trying to relax. Sean
The materials depart so much from the humpy you could have named this anything. The venerable Humpy has a great family tree from coast to coast it is named differently but you have made another unique form of the fly totally. You could have called it the synthetic humpy if you had found a synthetic for the tail. Nice fly Ruben. Not sure I would consider it a humpy but it is nice nonetheless. All the best, Sean

Great humpy (of a sort) with Beethoven. A blessed change from twanging guitars. Up-ticked and subscribed.
Thanks!!

Excellent tie, Ruben! The foam Humpy is one of my favorite attractor patterns. I like any fly with biot tails. What was used for the dubbing?
Joe
