I only learned a few words but i remember she’s take me and her own daughter to her moms house for borsch and the chocolates omg the chocolates. I miss them alot. I’m 24 now
i know russian and some words in polish sound very similar to it, so i kept understanding little bits of what he was saying, like, chicken, phone, present, i control it, not for the first time, every day, something about his cousins on his mother side. i was left so confused, honestly 😂

I speak Czech and am next to the boarder of Czech and Poland so my language is a mix of both. I grow up with both, and I love this!!!
i know russian and some words in polish sound very similar to it, so i kept understanding little bits of what he was saying, like, chicken, phone, present, i control it, not for the first time, every day, something about his cousins on his mother side. i was left so confused, honestly 😂
I can understand every single word and I'm smiling instead of feeling sleepy but I cannot it doesn't do the job as ASMR. Everyone knows smiling is the best way to relax!
listening to polish is so interesting for me: my native language is ukrainian, which is pretty close to polish, so i can understand maybe up to 40% of words and phrases
it's just such a fascinating thing to me, bc i know that these languages belong to the same family and similarities r inevitable, but it's just so _interesting_
idk how to explain but basically languages (and linguistics) fascinate me
Considernig the fact that ukrainian mostly developt form a mix of russian and polish it makes sense for you to understand a few things.
