OK, guys in this video, you are conflating two different things. You started by showing the ad of Donald Trump, which was focused primarily on the transgender inmate issue. That’s clearly a radical far left position that a very small percentage of the country agrees with and that’s why the ad was so effective. The New York Times asked him about the transgender bathroom issue, which is a separate issue in entirely. He is right when he said let’s let the lawmakers handle it and follow whatever the Supreme Court decides.
When I was in prison 30 years ago, the law REQUIRED trans treatment in prison. That's never changed. The problem is, is that it was not followed. This is nothing new.
It's ok to compliment the person you consider your enemy if they do the right thing. Judging people by their actions and not their political identity is something I see very few news outlets do. Hats off to you guys!
The point of the add was that this issue isn't a big deal and it's the woke democrats that have been relentlessly pushing for issues that are clearly not a priority.
They do it so that they don't have to focus on the more important reforms most Americans want, like healthcare improvements, the economy, and foreign policy change. I think they even manufacture these culture war issues to some extent. But the Republicans do it, too, for the same reasons.

In my experience as someone who is generally more libertarian/right leaning. Most conservatives are concerned with having this stuff pushed on kids/ early gender reassignment surgery etc. having to tiptoe around language. Being told they have to say there's zero difference in the sexes (aka sports for example, or dating). You wanna identify or dress a certain way, cool. Do you you're an adult. But why does this tiny population get SOOO much deference in public life and don't make me deny what we all inherently know. Men and women exist and are different. And don't hurt my kids before they are adults and can make their own decision.

In Australia we have had Unisex bathrooms for what seems like more than half of my 60+++ years. Europe has , in many places never stopped having shared bathrooms. But I think the easiest solution for all is the third option, the Unisex option. Like there is a Mothers Room option in many places.

In Australia we have had Unisex bathrooms for what seems like more than half of my 60+++ years. Europe has , in many places never stopped having shared bathrooms. But I think the easiest solution for all is the third option, the Unisex option. Like there is a Mothers Room option in many places.
In Europe it is unisex, but it’s private. You’re not sharing the bathroom with another person so it’s not the same.

I think a lot of people, particularly those on the left, totally misread that ad. It wasn't about 'others' it was to strike the chord of 'Hey!
