- In this video, we'll be introducing you to some of the key concepts in calculus, specifically derivatives, limits, and tangent lines.
We'll start with an overview of what calculus is and how it works, then dive into the basics of limits and how they relate to derivatives. We'll explore how derivatives are used to measure rates of change and slopes, and how they can be used to solve real-world problems in fields like physics, engineering, and economics.
We'll also cover tangent lines and how they are used to approximate functions and determine the behavior of curves at specific points. You'll learn how to calculate derivatives and use them to find the equation of tangent lines and slopes.
Whether you're a beginner looking to get started with calculus or an experienced learner seeking to brush up on your skills, this video has something for everyone. By the end of this video, you'll have a solid understanding of the basics of derivatives, limits, and tangent lines in calculus.

I have been waiting for this lesson for ages; finally!! I can't thank you enough Mr Jayson. Because of you now I love to learn Math and Physics.
Happy to hear that!
Picking math up as I try to switch careers in my 30s; these concepts seem even easier to understand than when I was studying them 10+ years ago! Thank you Jason for putting in the effort and sharing your invaluable knowledge.
This is exactly what I need right now, just starting calculus.
Jason what a terrific and simple explanation, thanks.
This guy is a genius
Calculus is a race of the strong and persistent
I wanna ask if u can be my private tutor
Thank you, your classes are excellent!
Would love to see the video from you about intuition and derivation of fundamental theorem of calculus. Keep up the good work!
Fantastic teaching, thank you so much.
Thank you so much incredible teacher we do need that!!!
Fantastic explanation. Thank you!
🌟🌷🌟 It's great because you give lessons with all your heart
excellent teacher
It wasn't painful, It was enjoyable. Thank you sir for your time and excellent work. please keep going this way. (I am telling all this as a person who watched a lot of videos about Math and always comes back to your channel)
Thank you very much!
thanks for your work
Great teacher!
Thank you! 😃
Great lesson teacher
THANK YOU... SIR...!!!
Pretty simple at the end of the day!
Excellent!
Soboostful sir💕10x sir
good lesson, love your lesson!
I think there are many quantities in nature which have constant velocity and so their inst velocity. There are also quantities like throwing a ball in the air, calculating it's velocity at different instant of time is important. There, the derivatives are helpful.
Thanks!
the guy is excellent
Your explanations make me wonder why calculus is considered difficult. You also have a real talent for drawing on a white board.
Wow thank you!
Please make antiderivatives videos also loves from Nepal 🇳🇵 jay Nepal thanks you so much 💗 🎉
Thank you so much 😭😭😭
Jason ji, I'm not sure what is your area of expertise, but by the looks of it, you seem to know everything. So, do you have any plans to start the computational neuroscience Playlist?
Hello Jason! Do you have any plans on recording a Discrete Mathematics course? Thank you very much!!
It was a lot , I lost track but I have to know more.
got it... yes......
Please upload the next part ,continuation of the limits
Please do a video on Taylor Series
✨
❤
What are sec and secs?
17:30 DUDE!
Hmmm....not sure what to think....of a math teacher...that says "I'm gonna circle this..." and then draws a rectangle.
Lol, well a circle is a rectangle where all corners are rounded right :)
I need a private tutor pls 🙏🙏🙏
I'm really not good at my science subject and I really want to become a nurse
I could be your tutor. Send me your mail id if interested
Too many interruptions by adverts.
an annoying quality is the constant.."ok" no need and rather irritating...thanks for the lessons
Awfully long and incomplete
You have any references or sources for this? Im down to study all material available.
