nice build, the only change I would do is use frosted plastic panels (used for false ceilings in an office that's sold at hardware stores). It will reflect light even better.

Just so you're aware, the saw, while it did work on this wood project, is a saw for cutting metal. You'll dull the blade cutting wood with it. Anyone wishing to cut wood, please be sure to use a proper saw for cutting wood. Thx

But if anything, I think its safer for beginners to use that metal saw for wood. The replaceable blade isnt really expensive, the blade alone isnt that sharp. If anything itll take longer to cut through, but the pieces use in this project are really small so it'll be fine, besides personally I find it also help cutting more precisely for beginner. Besides the blade is relatively stiff compared to most carpentry saw, and the teeth are small kind of like japanese saw. In a lot of ways I think its ideal for the occasional diy projects.

Aquarium will work nicely with a strong light inside.

Anybody else see the critical flaw in this design? The glass isn't "pasted" to the wooden frame; it's pasted to the cut-out piece of white paper which it tracked down, at best, to the wooden frame using a GLUE-STICK. As soon as the bond between the paper and the wood fails, and it will fail, the glass will come off with the white cut-out piece of paper stuck to it via Super Glue, and probably shatter and cut whoever is unlucky enough to have taken advice from these people. The glass should be affixed to the wooden frame using a clip, L-bracket, or even a bent nail hammered into the wooden frame and bent around the piece of glass to hold it down. Any of those would be a better method of securing the glass than a glue stick or super glue for that matter.
If you have already made this according to this design, do me a favor and put a strip of duct tape or some other strong type around the edge of the glass adhering it to the frame as a precaution. That glass WILL NOT STAY on that frame using super glue. It WILL NOT! Wood is porous; glass is NOT. You have to afix the glass in place using a clip around the edge of the piece of glass and the frame or a piece of tape around the edge of the piece of glass and if the frame.

Nice!! If I use a black background, this light table could turn into a lightboard? To write with liquid chalk markers?

Well three ways one you can go to Lowe’s or Home Depot if you wanna spend the extra money for good led light strips. Two you can find then at family dollar, dollar trees or my favorite Five Below. Last one is online mainly Amazon which you can find tons of LEDs but my choice would be Five Below cheap easy. Hope this helps
