From the Curren, Carrol, Pottz, Occy era, through the Machado, Irons, Knox new gen, then Mick, Parko, Dingo, then Medina, Italo and into Griff, Ethan and this new mob is just insane. He changed the sport, he’s been a global inspiration, provided pinnacle moments and generations have adored him. An incredible athlete, so many epic memories. God bless and good health KS!

Thanks Kelly Slater, I'm from Brazil but live in Canada for many years... love the sport and obviously have following you since the 80s, I'm your age, love that you have proven one can be in shape and competitive way past 30, 35 years, sad to never been able to see you competing live in person. Now is a new era in the WSL... without Kelly, the level of the young guys are incredible but the memories of the past are still very vivid, love of God and all the best for you and everyone

Around the year 1989 one said that "Americans are looking for someome to be the new 'Tom Curren' and this person said that a surfer like Tom Curren is only born once every 10 years or whatever and Kelly Slater wouldn't be that one..." well we learn that we shouldn't listen or worry too much about what people say...

CT tour does not make any sense. and WSL is useless. Thanks for score in Tahiti for Kelly, having him competing in first heat of the day at Pipe with no wind and chest high waves. and many more. I was there at pipe for last win. Emotions to the roof. all people i met around the world all these years they all told me they were there just to see Kelly. I see no point to watch WSL anymore now.
