Fun reaction for Dave. I wonder how many people could play drums so proficiently while dressed in such a costume. Thank you for sharing this with Dave and the rest of us. Nyango Star the character is a mascot for an apples grown in Amori Japan. He is a dead cat who was buried under an apple tree and reincarnated as part cat part apple. The name comes from Nyan, the Japanese word for cat and Ringo in honor of Ringo Starr. This resulted in the name Nyango Star. He is referred to as Apple Cat or Monster Apple.
Another great reaction. In the beginning, I think Dave was like..."Joel....what the heck are you showing me?" 😂 My money is on Nao from MTH....lol. Oh...can't wait for the next one. Senri Kawaguchi is AMAZING!👍
Nyango Star is the drummer for Charamel, an all metal band made of other mascots. They call their genre Charmetal (character metal). I suggested a reaction to Charamel and even on a livestream but I guess it gets lost out. Nyango is a reanimated dead applecat who represents a local farmers co-op in Aomori Prefecture (the northmost point on Honshu) to promote local farms and businesses. Aomori has the second highest population decline in Japan which also affects the regional economy and employment. The lore for for Nyango Star is a bit lengthy. Funayassi (vocals) who is a pear fairy. Yes he(?) is a fruit and is an unofficial macot for the city of Funabashi in Chiba prefecture (east of Tokyo) to help cheer up local citizens. He(?) has his own TH-cam channel and is funny as hell. always joking around. Kapal on bass who a Kapa. Kapas are a mythical turtle-salamander like water demon that is said to terrorize people around streams and rivers. And they also eat children. Kapal who loves eating cucumbers represents for the city of Shiki in Saitama Prefecture (north of Tokyo). Then their is Akkuma on guitar. Kuma is Japanese for bear. Akkuma is a horned alien space bear from Hokkaido. He also has a twin sister named Koakkuma and both come from the planet Akkuma-sei. She is an angelic one while Akkuma is devilish. And don't forget, you can't rule anyone out, because it could be more than one person. At a time. Or at the same time, in that big costume. Are there any siamese twin drummers?
"He represents an apple that has been inhabited by the spirit of a dead cat." Plot twist: It's actually a she, Nao Kawakita from a band called Maximum the Hormone.

The person inside the costume is Nao Kawakita, female drummer for the band Maximum the Hormone!! 🤘🤘
NYANGO STAR and DAVE RODWAY both have the same levels of energy - which a regular person would need a large dose of amphetimines to match.
wow! ... now Nyango Star ... and next is Senri Kawaguchi! she is awesome

Made him grab his sticks!
It is not a costume!
Because, "The world's most famous rat in dreamland is not wearing a costume. They are real rats." Right?
It has to be Buddy Rich Reincarnation =)
