I don’t get her. She says she wants a vanilla relationship but yet she still goes for the red room and all this other rough stuff.
Ikr? Like one moment she is upset at Christian for being too rough with her, then next moment she's demanding the red room. Her character is flakily written I swear lol.. Christian's desire for a dominant/domineering relationship is supposed to balance with Ana's more 'vanilla' and tender approach. Her suddenly preferring roughness etc seems out of character, as if she's turning into Christian and that's not her personality. I'm not saying she has to hate the red room, or bdsm entirely per say or else she wouldn't be with Christian obvs.. But she's still that more tender/ less experienced person in the relationship.

The issue was that she also wanted a romantic relationship with Christian. Christian was using his BDSM preferences as a substitute for genuine emotional intimacy.
The difference is now she has a CHOICE whether or not she wants those things. Before, it would have been required.

I think reading the books gives us a better understanding of what each character is going through emotionally. I also strongly recommend the two supplemental books: GREY, which is the Fifty Shades of Grey told through Christian's words, thoughts and emotions; and DARKER, which does the same for Fifty Shades Darker. Some of the things the characters are going through are
Yeah, I'm at the moment reading the Fifty Shades of Grey told through Christian point of view and its pretty cool see how Christian was so attracted to Ana unlike his other submissive(s) in the past.

In the book Ana said he sounded a angry whenever he would switch to his angermode she used to call him "fifty" she said fifty is back , like his dark mode is on.
Trust me in the books it did not sound romantic , it sounded like he was going to beat her , Jamie turned that line to a more funny line so this movie wouldnt be cancelled and the money used to promote Ted Bundy 's movie

We live in a society where some people actually enjoy the Twilight movies too and that's unfortunate. The good news is that this infamous film trilogy appears to be finished since the last film was released a few months ago. When it comes to films that feature Kim Basinger, I'll stick with Tim Burton's Batman and 8 Mile. It wouldn't shock me if some of the people who went to see these films in theaters thought that these movies would be entertaining and sexy. These films ended up being awkward and boring.

the silver balls are called the ben wa balls. they are 2 individual balls connected by a string of some sort. It comes in variety of materials but this one is metal.
